The ocean front views were amazing, staff were nice and friendly. But the check-in is almost nightmarish, they need to fix that!! They have you check-in then they tell you to come back for keys……… so they make stand in line twice…….

Español/English Estuve ahi una semana y vi los 2 lados de la moneda. I stayed there for about a week and saw both sides of the coin. Los primeros 3 dias estuvieron bien. Hay buenas opciones de transporte y actividades externas e instalaciones decentes. Sin embargo, al 4to dia hubo un apagon que duro varias horas. Al dia siguiente, no habian suficientes toallas y estaban alternando el aire acondicionado cada par de horas para distribuir la electricidad que les llegaba, cosa que causo que el ventilador sacara agua. Al dia siguiente me desactivaron las tarjetas de acceso pero eso se arreglo rapido al contactar recepcion. El Wifi, mediocre. Frequentemente me dejaba sin internet desde mi laptop y paso mucho mas en los ultimos 3 dias. La comida no esta mal, pero no es algo que diria que vale la pena conseguir el todo incluido- el dia que fui me atendieron mal. The first three days were quite good. There are good transportation and external activity options. However, on the 4th day, there was a 2-3 hr outage. On the following day, there were not enough towels and they were alternating the air conditioner every hour to distribute the available power - this resulted in the room fan precipating some water. The day after my access cards got revoked but that got solved promptly upon contacting reception. Wifi was bad, often kicking me out on my laptop and happening often, much more after the blackout. Food was okay, but not worth all-inclusive. The day I went service was bad

I booked 2 rooms at the Oceano Palace, upon arrival they told us that based on the type of room we *reserved* they were out but the placed us at a sister hotel (Luna Palace), my mother loves the hot tub at Oceano, the main reason we made the reservation, Luna doesn't have one, there was a dead cockroach right outside my room, there was another one in the bathroom of the bedroom as well, it was very disappointing ti be moved elsewhere without being told 1st and to a place without same amenities. We will probably not stay here/there again.

If you have kids this is a great place. If you are alone, I wouldn’t. For us it was perfect because we do have kids, their are children everywhere. So my kiddos loved it. The breakfast was pricey and not awesome. The staff was great! It’s also loud up to 10 ish so again if that’s not your thing I wouldn’t.

Good location beach side, got beach view room for a last min booking. Drinks were great. Food needs improvement, for being next to the beach we thought it would me more seafood than anything. Room was very humid and would make floors slippery. Bathroom zinc had big leak and would make big puddle underneath.

My family and I had a bad stay at Oceano Palace. First of all their rooms don’t have mini fridge or microwave and need updating. The staff is rude and don’t give you accurate information on stay. I have stayed in other hotels in Mazatlan and they are nicer and the staff is awesome. I will not go back to this place.

originally we rented 3 rooms and when we got there family rented a couple more rooms staff was rude and not friendly we will not stay there ever Again we would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Would’ve appreciated some clean towels in our rooms, we had 4 rooms our stay was 3 nights. 4 to a room and only one room had two towels 😒 this was through out the stay. Mold In shower, mold on drapes not very nice. Cleanliness attracts, so definitely need attention on it.

Noise levels
We were hosting several men in our city, and the main complaint that we heard was the level of noise in the late afternoons and evenings. Loud groups in the hallways and sometimes in rooms closeby. Some had difficulty sleeping. And for some the beds were too hard.

Its an older building. Most staff were nice especially Angelica. It needs to be upgraded. The lines to check out were horrible, no discipline everyone was everywhere. The noise was very loud with the music, you couldnt sleep.

Very Bad Hotel
We had the confirmation(reservation number) and name of the person for the reservation but the Hotel couldn't locate our reservation it took them about 5 hours to figure it out, the room was at the basement level and it smell and was humid, at night there was noise like a party was outside my door, I called several times but they did nothing, most personel from hotel are very rude and not helpful at all! very dissapointing!
