Family time
We had a lovely time staying in Martinborough. The house was perfect for the 10 of us. It suited our needs perfectly. We made use of the tennis court and spa. Highly recommend this property

Wonderful Wedding Weekend
We stayed at Black Barn Modern for our wedding, the house is beautiful & well looked after. Exactly what I wanted for getting ready & being photographed in. It was a very hot Martinborough weekend so the aircon in each room was much needed. We loved our stay!

Wine club experience
8 people from the same wine club in Hawke’s Bay decided to have a trip away in Martinborough. Our stay at Blackbarn Modern was lovely, very handy to everything a lovely area to explore and lots of lovely wine and food. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Winter Weekend
It is a lovely modern, warm and spacious home and perfect for a group. As it was cold and raining during our trip we appreciated this. A few things to improve on for perfection would be: the wifi connection is poor and although we reset the modem we experienced continued buffering. One of the bedroom headboards (navy) was covered in dust. Better quality pillows and sheets. Overall we had a lovely stay and would stay again.

Best Martinborough Stay Ever
We are a family group of 6 adults and a 3 year old - the house was absolutely perfect - despite the bad weather we totally enjoyed our stay in the beautifully appointed home - everything we needed was there!

Beautiful home with great facilities
Beautiful modern home with loads of space, great indoor-outdoor flow, all the streaming services you might need and access to a private community swimming pool and tennis court. The whole-house air-conditioning makes it ideal for toasty summer vacations. Very responsive service from the property owners. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning home, perfect location. I would highly recommend this place for sure. The tennis courts and pool looked fantastic although it was winter months so wasn't able to use, the spa pool was bliss and this home has amazing flow to the outdoors. It was super clean and the beds were so comfy.

This house has everything you'll need for a weekend in the Wairarapa - lush surroundings, great location an easy walk from the main town square. The house itself is finished to a high standard, with everything you could need for a weekend of bbq's and outdoor entertaining. Our group of 8 adults found it comfortable & spacious. Will definitely be staying again!

Great place for a holiday
This was amazing to stay in. It had ample facilities and supplies to make us very happy. The place was clean and tidy to turn up to and we were all very excited to stay there. Communication with the host was great and we loved our stay so much that we want to book the place each year.

Lovely modern and well furnished place!
The house was exactly as shown, very modern and well furnished and had all amenities listed. Check in was very easy and communication with hosts was great. Overall we were very comfortable during our stay. Only a couple of very small drawbacks - there were quite a few flies inside when we arrived and we would recommend frosting the small bathroom windows!

The house was fabulous to stay in had everything we needed and was centrally situated and close to the tennis court, trampoline and the swimming pool. It is within walking distance to the township which is great. Fabulous spa pool and BBQ.

Amazing property
We had such a lovely time at this property. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The location is very quiet and the spa pool is such a nice addition to a property that already has such a lot of attractive features. We stayed in winter and it was always very warm.

This property was everything it promised to be and more. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and pristine. The spa pool was a lovely touch on a winters night, and the owners were fantastic. Definitely going to recommend this property to all my friends who need a bit of a luxury holiday
