"Perhaps the most elegant and intimate hotel I have ever vacationed in. Place des Vosges is an extraordinary oasis, with a beautiful park square and several cafes and restaurants, plus high end shops. Pavilion de la Reine is the JEWEL of Place des Vosges, an oasis in an oasis. It is quiet and restful, the staff, who are numerous, are extremely courteous, speak perfect English, and are numerous. The small bar is great and the Michelin-starred restaurant is excellent with a great wine list and steward, who recommended an amazing Rhône to me that was only 60 Euros. By far the cheapest wine on the list, and I was prepared to pay much much more. We did not use the Spa, but our room was very special, amazing. Like being inside a beautifully decorated gift box. Truly elegant, it was small but cozy, had space for a small desk, opening on a tree filled and sunlit and totally quiet inner courtyard. Shower was great, bathroom fine, and nice that toilet was in a separated tiny room. I will never stay anywhere else in Paris again."
