Red Planet Manila Bay was perfect for my one-night stay before my US visa interview. It's incredibly convenient, just an 8-10 minute walk from the embassy. Plus, the price was right! The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. My twin room wasn't huge, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Not a long stay hotel. Room photos are a true representation. A simple but clean room with the largest comfortable bed you will find. Good shower once I had cleaned the rainfall head! No real hanging space for clothes only 4 hangers on a wall. How a couple would cope could be interesting. Location good for most touristy things.

Sewage odor with drainage issues. Hard for taxis to get in and out of. No phone in each room but 1 phone near elevator on each floor. No amenities in bathroom. Rooms are10’ X 10’. Very limited TV programming in english with same movies night after night. Disappointing. Will be staying at other hotel in the future

The check in process was very smooth and efficient. The lifts are secured as you need a room key to validate the floor you travel to. My double was not spacious but good for my needs. A sea view, good TV, bathroom, fridge and kettle. You need your own tea/coffee etc as these are not provided. The hotel is very clean throughout. It is located opposite the embassy of the USA. It is convenient for Intramurus and many national Museums. Staff are very friendly and helpful

To be fair, they do advertise as a budget hotel but they are not joking. The room is a comfortable king size bed and a narrow walkway to it and that is it. It was a very clean room that looked very new. No complimentary toiletries or water is provided and house cleaning is not provided without notification through their app. The shower has a tendency to get water everywhere since there is no door to make the shower feel bigger than it is. The location to nearby attractions is good but the building is located in a poorer spot of town and has a large puddle that smells of sewage right outside the door so be careful stepping out of your ride. Even eating in the attached restaurant you will be asked to give money or buy wares from people through the window.
