Great little bach.
Everything you need for a little holiday away. Everything as described. Heated salt water pool was awesome. Place is quite small but having the covered deck with big table was perfect for reading the paper and family dinners.

Relaxed bach
We loved our stay here. The cabin has everything you need including aircon which we were very grateful for in the hot summer weather. The pool was our favourite feature and the other residents in the park were very friendly.

Great spot in Mangawhai
Bach is in easy walking distance to shops, cafe and restaurants. Outdoor seating a bonus. Complex (shared) pool is well maintained and clean. Full kitchen and full sized fridge in the bach. Comfy lounge seating. Barb called in to say hi, otherwise a very private stay. Short drive to surf beach and estuary. Thanks Barb, enjoyed our stay.

Marvelous Mangawhai
Cosy cottage with everything you need, it was a lovely place to stay for our family. Laid-back atmosphere with a safe friendly environment for our 8-year-old to enjoy. Barb was lovely. Thanks so much for letting us stay.

A short break
A lovely wee house in a quiet corner of a re-purposed campground. A fantastic pool which the kids loved after dark. Barb was quick to help resolve any issues, and very friendly.

Magical Mangawhai
We had a wonderful stay. Barb was super helpful & very welcoming. Lovely clean and tidy home with beautiful deck. There is also a shared swimming pool and barbecue area which was fantastic. We would love to return if we come back to New Zealand!

Great little 2 bedroom Kiwi bach
We had a great stay in Mangawhai. Love the lockwood style bach and the pool facilities. Close to New World and shops. The bach had all we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this bach and I feel the price is also great!

We had a lovely stay at this bach in Mangawhai. The weather wasn’t great during our time there so we definitely appreciated the access to Netflix😊 Our daughter enjoyed the pool too. It was lovely and peaceful and Barbara was fantastic to communicate with and very welcoming. Thanks!

Had a lovely stay at Barb's Batch. Nice and comfortable for my family of 4. Kids loved the pool. Bennetts, Mangawhai Domain and Mangawhai Village Shops all within walking distance and a short drive to the newly opened New World Supermarket. As this place is situated in a little park of houses its very safe and family friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and Barb is a fantastic host. Thanks for our stay in Magical Mangawhai we will be back!

with out very little expense , thought , and love there could be much more
It would have been nice to have had milk in the fridge, tea bags & coffee for a cuppa after driving 5 hours . The dish washing liquid was out, dishwasher had no tablets, which we would have brought with us if we knew there was a dish washer. The money was imediately taken from my card a good three weeks before our stay, so money was had well before our stay. A list of local eateries would have helped also. Not welcoming feeling on arrival.

Thank you Annie interesting that you only relate to tablets in dishwashers everyone else has uses the powder… Bookabach do the bookings and take your money I’m paid minus fees when you leave

Very nice two bed, one bathroom Bach. Beds very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showering. Cooking facilities very good. Close to superette and local restaurant/pub.

Barbara was wonderful to deal with, helpful and easy to contact. Beds are comfy, shower is great, kitchen has everything we needed - cooking with gas was awesome! Pool was beautifully clean and warm. We look forward to coming back.

Fab spot for a getaway
We had a great stay at Barb's Bach, we would definitely love to come back. The location is great, walking distance to the shops and a quick drive to the beach. The Bach was the perfect size, clean & tidy. We all loved having access to the pool on site too!

This cosy bach is all you could ever want in a holiday. Lovely all weather outside deck and very quiet surroundings. The loudest sound is the birds chirping. We returned home very relaxed and looking forward to returning in the near future.

Amazing Bach located in a perfect spot close to Bennett’s, Mangawhai Tavern and the shops. The Bach facilities are amazing (comfy beds, great kitchen, perfect shower pressure and super clean Bach) it was perfect for our little family stay and the bonus of the heated pool which our little baby loved. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Awesome, clean cabin with a great location!
We had a great stay at Barb’s Bach. The cabin was spacious, had everything we needed along with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and a great deck with table and chairs. The bach is situated in Mangawhai Park so you’re close to other cabins but everyone was friendly and we hardly noticed our neighbours. The shared pool was awesome to cool off in and the shops are just a two minute drive down the road. Thanks again!
