Family Christmas
Superb accomodation for our multi-generational family of 15. We were all able to sit together at the big table on the enclosed deck for Christmas lunch (and other meals). There was plenty of room for us all to be together or have our own space. The pool is amazing. Di is an amazing host, accomodating and friendly.

We enjoyed our trip and the house. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Three bathrooms was a treat. Loved the pool. It rained a little so the covered gazebo kept our towels and spectatores dry. The covered and screened in deck was great for the bbq and meals. The provision of fans were appreciated as summer is always a little toasty. Thanks for the tip about the sat morning markets. Very relaxing weekend. Would definitely come here again.

Great for a big family holiday
This is a big house- great for large groups with so many bedrooms and bathrooms. Host friendly and helpful. Clean and modern INside. The pool is fantastic. Make sure you're prepared for mosquitoes though. :)

Lovely property, clean, spacious and comfortable. Hosts were super helpful and so understanding and kind about our current situation (homeless because of flooding!). It was just our large family here, but this property would be incredible for a blended family holiday too.

Lovely stay, terrible weather
Dianne was a great host and very helpful. The children loved the pool even though the weather wasn't great. 14 of us and plenty of room for everyone.

Fantastic host
Dianne was a great host her communication was crystal clear which made our stay easy. We changed our camping plans due to bad weather and couldn't be happier with how the house and location worked out. The bbq and deck were great for relaxing and catching up with friends and it was close to the beach for a surf after watching the football on sky. Thanks Dianne.

The best part about this property is swimming pool. We really enjoyed that. Best part was it was a big house which can accommodate big groups. Overall it was great apart from dishwasher not working. Hopefully it’s fixed now. Thanks

Mums weekend
The ideal location for our annual Mums catch up. The property is set in rural Mangawhai has a beautiful outlook over the countryside to the estuary yet only 2min drive to the Mangawhai shops. The pool was a great addition. We loved having a bathroom each and the great deck and comfy outdoor furniture to use for a cup of tea to drinks and pizza. The owners communication was great and even called before we arrived ro check thay we were still coming etc.We will be back!

Great hosts were the icing on the cake. All 13 of our group really enjoyed staying at this property, with plenty of scope for shared dining, and outdoor games. This is a great location, close to Mangawhai but very private and quiet. Great place to stay.

We had a fabulous time at this property. Diane and Billy were excellent hosts and just super lovely people. The pool was amazing and the large property was ideal for kids to run around. Close to the pub which is fantastic for a relaxed family meal and the markets held at the school on Saturday mornings. The layout of the house was ideal with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We will definitely be back!

The property is exactly as the photos and description show... unfortunately you were after more brand new apartment style - you don’t get one for that price, and for a one night booking, sorry you were unhappy - perhaps next time do your homework. First ever rating this low, hugely disappointed when we had to listen to you party into the early hours
