"This was our second visit to Irish Beach and to this house. We love sitting out on the deck enjoying the view, reading, watching the birds fly by and treating ourselves to time in the spa. The dark sky stargazing is grand. The walk on the beach down to where the Garcia River flows into the ocean below the Point Arena Lighthouse is the perfect way to renew and refresh. Irish Beach is a beautiful place and this house is ideal for the full effect of coastal ambience."

"We had a wonderful stay, very pleased, lots of extras, but it is not a 4 bedroom house (more later). Sitting at the dining room table there is a view out between houses to see the ocean. The master bedroom deck has an even better view. The master bedroom is spacious, as is the larger of the other bedrooms. The third bedroom is small with room for the bed and not much else. The 'fourth bedroom' - the office with a pull out couch we didnt use. It is private but is quite small concrete block...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Manchester, including drives up to Mendocino and Ft. Bragg. On a clear day, the coast line is breathtaking. I will add that if you are heading to that area of the coast, you should definitely avoid taking Mountain View Road to get over the coastal range. It is a terrifying drive and should be closed to everyone other than locals."

"This home was the perfect Oasis for our trip to “Better Place Forest” in Point Arena. We came to place my husband’s ashes beneath the Redwood tree we chose six years ago. The house was perfectly situated near “A better place”. The neighborhood is easy to access and quiet. My grand daughter was delighted to have the game room because it was raining when we arrived. "The property was more remote than we anticipated. If you are looking for a true getaway, this is your spot. The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast. "We really enjoyed our stay. Hosts are great and extremely helpful. The best part of the house are the big windows and epic views. Also the access to the beach is amazing although the private road down to the beach is very very steep so may only be appropriate for awd vehicles and it’s very steep for walking. The house is a bit dated and could use an update but it’s rustic and worked fine for us."
