Did the marathon on Sunday.. great location to walk to & from start line.. staff very helpful & friendly Could do with re painting but doesn’t really effect your stay The Saturday was a bit expensive but that was due to the marathon & like most hotels they hike the prices

Great value hotel in a convenient location with free parking. Rooms are a dated but very clean. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed. Would stay again when we are in the area.

There a lot of things that need updating including their menu. The prices seem very expensive for frozen goods. On sunday they are only able to do pizza at the restaurant because there is not a chef. This irritated me as there are no signs to let customers know that this is the case. Everything absolutely spot on

I can not knock this place whatsoever, for the price you’re really just looking for a hotel which has a bed, no stinky room and no dead animals. For what’s classed as a 2 star hotel it’s perfect, right near all the Manchester City centre locations, lovely staff and a free car park which you can expect to pay at least £20 for a night anywhere else. Couldn’t recommend enough and would stay here again.

Everything we needed & nothing we didn’t
Reception staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was basic, but had everything we needed and for the price we paid we were more than happy. If you need a bed to crash in, near Manchester City Centre, with free parking, then this fits the bill

Terrible stay
The cleanliness was awful. The bathroom hadn't even been cleaned. Dirt on the shelving and rusty fittings. Poorly repaired holes in walls and light fittings not working. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Please look at photos.

This hotel is what you pay for, very basic and tired looking. The rooms have a musty smell and the bathroom didn’t seem clean and the sink leaked. Good location and free parking a plus.

Room was cold all there was, was a little storage heater, bathroom was freezing, small bath (if you call it a bath) no phone to ring through to reception. You can hear every noise going especially from people above you. No ceiling lights just lamps. Beds uncomfy and the smallest duvet possible.

This hotel was in the perfect location for exploring Manchester without having to worry about the car. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

Average at best
My partner started here approximately 20+ years ago & he didn't think that the room decor changed since then. Bed was comfortable enough, the pillows not so much. There was no hand towel in the bathroom. Great location though & just approximately 30 minute walk to the city centre, though with all of the building & road works going on in Manchester it wasn't easy to get across some roads. Not the hotels fault of course.

Ok fir a couple of nights if your stopping over
Convenient and a good price but had to keep the bathroom door closed as the drains stank. It is dated and needs an upgrade but cheep enough for a couple of nights.

Pretty grubby - floors needed hoovering, not cleaned properly: had the feel of an upmarket convenience knocking shop Walls are paper thin - could hear everyword from next door
