It was a great overall experience and had everything we needed to visit Mont Saint-Michel. The hotel has parking, breakfast in a restaurant next door, and the pick-up/drop-off of the shuttle is in front of the hotel. The room was spacious (for European standards).

Perfect location, helpful staff, comfortable
Perfect location for Mont St Michele. Very comfortable beds and helpful staff. Make sure you get code to barrier before you arrive although we called and they were immediately helpful.
How close you are to Mount St. Michele.

One star experience in a 4-star hotel
The hotel is in a great location, and with easy access (including being at the bus stop) for Mont Saint Michel. The rooms are very big and the bed is comfy, although the layout is odd, given the the number of compartments (e.g., toilet is separated from the bathroom). Walls are pretty thin. MAJOR ISSUE: Upon entry, there were a number of mosquitos in the room. I swatted a few and hoped that would resolve the issue, but they just kept coming (the window was left open). I informed the front desk, and because the hotel was full, they effectively told me I was out of luck. They dropped off some bug spray and told me to leave the room for 45 min to air out the room after it was used. Given it was very late, and there wasn't really any common space, I didn't have anywhere to go. This made for a frustrating experience since I would've expected a nicer 4-star quality hotel to at least fumigate the room and apologize for the experience. Sadly, didn't get a good night sleep, and wish I would've stayed elsewhere.

4* tourist hotel conveniently situated within walking distance (40 mins) of Mont St Michel, amongst some other hotels. There is a free shuttle to and from the Mont all day. French day visitors use the coach/car park and quickly fill up the shuttle. The parking system is far too complicated and results in queues to exit and pay. Most people stay 1 or 2 nights whilst visiting the Mont which allows early morning or late evening access without the crowds.

Perfect Hotel!
Perfect hotel to stay in to visit Mont St Michel! Staff was amazing. Our hotel room looked like it was recently remodeled, it was gorgeous. You do need to make a dinner reservation in advance so beware of that, you can't just show up when you want to eat. Shuttle service to MSM is easy to use, runs every 12 minutes. We went at sunrise & there were very few people at MSM. When we left about 2 hours later, MSM was super crowded. I'd advise to go early.

This was an extremely handy location to visit MSM. Used the parking code to enter La Caserne area, parked right in front of the hotel and walked to the Abbey and back again which we really enjoyed, especially since the bus queues were very long! Hotel had a very good breakfast and we had dinner there as well which was also good. Very glad the hotel restaurant was open as many hotels and restaurants on the mainland side of the bridge were closed for the season even though the visitors seemed to be numerous. Staying here was a great decision logistically.

Overall this is a nice place to stay when visiting Mont Saint Michel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However, it was a disappointment to have to pay each time we went through the gate on the access road. The hotel should provide a complementary code for the access road as it is very expensive to use. The bus shuttle to Mont Saint Michel was great as it is a long walk.

Parking code sent by hotel prior to arrival. Parking easy and straightforward. Shuttle to Mont St Michel right in front of hotel. Multiple restaurant options and shopping nearby. Ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Both meals were delicious! Room was clean and looked newly remodeled. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

There is a gate at the entrance to a cluster of hotels. Mecure emailed me a code for the gate that did not work. Our group of 8 arrived in two cars, so we needed two codes, but had only the one code that did not work. One of our party spoke French and had a phone that works in Europe. If he had not been with us, we would still be at that gate. Everything else was great.

Reception was kind and professional and very helpful! The lamb in the adjacent restaurant was delicious. Proximity to Mont St Michel was a highlight… within walking distance, although shuttles are frequent. The only challenge was the bathroom, located in a closet and super tiny! Overall a great stay and I hope to stay again!

Great hotel staff - bad GPS location!
Location of hotel was excellent! Shuttle to Mont St Michel was right across the street from the hotel. Front desk staff was outstanding as I had trouble finding the hotel. GPS could not locate hotel, but a call to the hotel “saved the day” and we arrived very quickly after that. Overall - a great experience!
