The room was clean, and cozy. However, I woke up a few times itching on my neck and back. I placed some discarded food items in the bathroom trash can. When I woke up the bathroom was full of ants, and not the sugar ant kind, they bit me all over my legs.

We have a pleasant stay, except it’s so hard to find the place if you are coming night time. Not a clear sign to guide you.
I liked the fact that I didn’t have the garden salad and get food poisoning as I did on Jan 1 of this year when I stayed there.
I spent 5 days in hospital because of the lack of food cleanliness in your restaurant

All vegetables at our facility are purchased from Pricesmart (Costco spinoff) or La Colonial supermarkets and immediately refrigerated. Your story is quite interesting considering in any given day, the same vegetables are used on approximately 40 to 50 orders, so if a single person gets sick and "spends 5 days in a hospital" but nobody else reports illness from the same batch of food, it appears that an assumption is being made. Perhaps turning over the test results from the hospital to us so we can make a determination if remedial action is necessary would be a responsible move on your part rather than make specious accusations. Certainly, with 5 days in the hospital, you can advise of the specific test results that would allow a determination of the incubation period for the bacteria or contamination to determine the source or cause.
Nearby to the airport…the walk at night is sketchy and I don’t recommend…pay the 7-10 USD across the street from airport at best western to get there safely. Shuttle back from the hotel is super easy and can be booked pretty straightforward from reception. I tried reserving a shuttle before my arrival but didn’t hear back from hotel. Bring your own body wash and shampoo. Free breakfast was fine. Good airport hotel with the right expectations as a budget night hotel.

We offer airport pickup for 7 per car. If you do not receive a response, please follow up via a whatsapp or Telegram call or email to the hotel. We provide shampoo/body wash in each room. We do not provide bar soap as most guests stay 1 night and it'd amount to excessive environmental damage. If the shampoo wasn't there, we wish you would have reached out to reception. We also sell shampoos, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorants in the lobby.
This should be considered a motel, not a hotel. People at front desk have no idea what customer service is.

While you don't explain what happened and only berate the facility, the service we provide goes far beyond any other budget hotel. We have hot food and cold drinks available 24/7 while the 150 hotel closes food at 8p.m., we have 24 hour drivers on staff and we're constantly busy coordinating that. When the electricity goes out, our hotel has a 250kva generator that runs the entire facility including air conditioners while the 150 hotel provides only emergency lighting of the hallways. Our staff are constantly bombarded by requests ranging from ordering pizzas for clients which they do at no charge while the 150 hotel charges 5, holding their luggage at no cost, and doing 24 hour wash and folds for 12.50 while the 150 hotel charges you 3 to wash a pair of socks. So we're not a 150 hotel, but our people are working non-stop 24 hours when other hotels shut off the lights and have a guard hand you a key and say everything is closed.
Staff was fairly clueless. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and when we got there, they had given the room we already paid for to someone else so they gave us a room across the street that was the size of a closet, and said it was the same price so no discount or refund. We asked about breakfast in the morning and they said to just come down and tell the kitchen staff what we wanted and the kitchen staff sent us back to the person that told us that to get a voucher. I would never recommend this place and will never stay there again.

It wasn't that they gave the room to someone else, it was that several rooms were closed due to a water emergency and they placed you where they could. As far as a discount, they didn't collect any money from you or make you pay as your room was prepaid to a third party travel agency. The staff could have provided you some cold drinks, certainly, and I'll explain to them how to handle this rare situation. As far as the breakfast, we'd prefer not to use vouchers at all and just have an open breakfast. Unfortunately, certain competing hostels have their guests walk in to our facility for breakfast and we accommodate them but charge a small amount. The person who checked you in obviously forgot to give you the coupon, and that was an error which we apologize for.
Very close to the airport. Includes shuttle to the hotel.

Thanks for the good review. However, to be clear, we offer airport pickup for 7 and dropoff for 5. To arrange a pickup, we need clients to email us their flight information to arrange a pickup.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. While we serve food 24/7, it's meant to be a snack bar and orders and payments are made by the cashier/front desk while the service is provided by the cooks. We're looking into digital ordering for clients with credit cards, but we experienced too many problems when we had the staff collect payments after a meal the way full service restaurants do.
Quick trip from airport convenient, free breakfast

The staff usually answer the main line (2225-4430), which also works via whatsapp. We're sorry that your room didn't meet your needs, I wish you requested another one. As to towels, we wash them 24 hours a day and probably a better answer was for them to promise to (and follow through) in delivering them to you. (The city has been low on water, so there have been some delays in washing them. We have been bringing in potable water by truck. (That may sound bad, but in Nicaragua, most hotels do not have tanks and when the water is low, the water stops. We have 30,000 litre backup tanks that can be filled by truck in emergencies).
I liked that they offer shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. The property is clean and quiet. The price is very reasonable and the restaurant is open 24 hours a day and the food you order is cooked fresh. If you’re looking looking for a place to rest, I recommend this hotel, it’s very affordable

Thanks for the good review. To be clear to other readers, we charge for airport transfers (6 for a pickup and 4 for a dropoff). This allows us to have ala carte pricing so clients only pay for services they use.

Decent place, friendly staff, not so clean rooms
Airport X was a decent place to stay for one night, but I would definitely not recommend staying here if you plan to stay in Managua longer-term. The rooms are not very clean and they lack a lot of the basic amenities, for instance my room did not even have a towel or soap. the staff is pretty friendly and their lobby is very nice but their prices for taxis and transport around the city is fairly pricey. The neighbors can be pretty loud to talking outside and the benches between the rooms. Overall, it is a fairly safe area and addition option if you just need a place to stay before or after catching a flight.

If your room was not properly cleaned, we wish you asked for a different one. We don't receive too many dirty room complaints. We do not offer "bar soap" for free but all rooms have a shampoo/body wash and liquid handsoap. The reason is our guests stay a single night usually, and throwing away 60 little bars of soap from a single use every day turned into over 10,000 little bars of soap per year in the trash. As far as towels, ordinarily there are towels in all rooms. During recent water shortages, sometimes they aren't finished washing until the evening and the day maids went home. As to the "pricey" taxi costs, understand the difference between a taxi and private hotel car. A taxi picks you up, takes you to wherever, then immediately finds another client. Our drivers are not taxis. They pick you up, drop you, and return empty. But to be clear, our rates are 6 for airport pickup, 4 for an airport dropoff, and about 15 for a ride into the city (30 minutes). Our gas rates are about 1 a gallon more than the United States and parts for cars are 40% higher. In fact, our car service is a break even situation and isn't a profit center. If you're an experienced Central American traveler, there's the indriver app or you can pay us 2 to drop you on the street where the true taxis are. For the travelers who desire the safety of a hotel employee, our prices are fair.

We really enjoyed our stay at Airport X Miami Hotel, good location easy to get to the airport. Highly recommended.
Nos agradó mucho nuestra estadía , lo recomendamos!
They have a beautiful little courtyard. It was quiet and peaceful in the morning and evening. Great that you can have up to six people in the family room.

Yes, our family rooms have two matrimonials and 1 two level bunk. Sometimes 6 people works out with 2 in each matrimonial then 1 on each level of the bunk.. If that's too tight, guests should consider two rooms.
Very OK if you need to be near the airport. Motel like. Good hot water. Early morning shuttles available for the short airport trip.

In Nicaragua, a "motel" is a place you have a secret rendezvous, so even a drive up will be a hotel if they are more family oriented. But the rooms are indeed walkups with their own individual entrance with the lobby in a separate building.
The room was really clean and the air conditioning was working well. It's a good place to sleep and close from the airport. The food was good and they start making breakfast at 4:00 AM. The pillows are too thick... really too thick. The rest of the room is good!
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Close to the airport, clean and nice looking place. The price was incredible. So cheap for what the place is
Clean room close to the airport. bar is open late, if you fly in late and want a snack and cocktail. FYI call the hotel for Their taxi. The Taxi from the airport is more expensive.
