Amazing location. Amazing views. Modern facilities. Unbelievable price of just $180 US dollars! In US equivalent hotel would be in 5 Star Napa Valley at $500/night.

"Great hotel"
Great hotel. Comfortable , spacious rooms and a lovely bathroom. Fresh towels each day. The whole place is spotless. No main mirror in the bedroom just in the bathroom. The staff are very helpful and knowledgable. The hotel is next to the train station and one stop from the centre of Malaga. The buses run just outside the hotel so plenty of travel options. The airport is three stops on the train and so easy to get to. We traveled down the coast to a couple of nearby beach resorts at very little cost. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment. The only things we felt were missing we're a pool and maybe coffee/tea making facilities in the room. All in all a very nice hotel.

"Very close to the city centre"
The hotel is a few minutes walk from the city centre and waterfront area, which meant we could walk everywhere. The reception staff were welcoming on our arrival, and continued to provide advice throughout our stay. Our room was at the rear of the hotel, quiet and was perfectly clean with ample wardrobe/cupboard space. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We didn't have breakfast during our stay, but we did have one evening meal and found this to be of a decent quality. The cafeteria/bar staff were extremely busy but were always friendly. We knew the hotel did not provide tea/coffee facilities in the room so we took our own kettle and purchased milk from the nearby supermarket which we kept in the fridge in the room.

"Hotel very near to the Central Plaza"
This was our second visit to this hotel We are planning to visit Malaga again in 2015 and will definitely stay at Malaga Centro. The staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to assist you in any way they can. We cannot complain about anything at all.

"Good spot to stay for a few days."
In the heart of the city, a short walk from the catheral and the new waterfront. Not must chat with the staff but quick and friendly service. Breakfast was part of the deal and it was fresh with very nice bread and cheese.Coffee machine was a little hard to get to a peek times. Our room and bathroom were lovely high on the seventh floor. Very good value for price.

Monte Malaga Hotel

"Ideal for railway station"
The Monte Malaga was chosen by us because of its location within walking distance of the railway station as we intended to visit Cordoba. The rail link to the airport is also an advantage. There's a 'beach', 10 minute stroll away, where you can relax, get some beer, etc. and savour the grilled sardines. The hotel offers a good selection of buffet food at breakfast, the coffee machines being a bit confusing at first. The staff were very efficient and helpful. In general, the hotel seemed very popular. There were a few business conventions and coach tour parties. On the whole we had a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Monte Malaga.

"Surprisingly nice upscale hotel"
We had a standard room and the twin beds squeaked....we spoke to the front desk and they couldn't have been more accomodating - they upgraded us to a room with an actual queen bed (non squeaking) and a balcony overlooking the harbor - lovely and very comfortable. I usually stay in smaller, more 'boutique' hotels and was pleasantly surprised with the Marriot. Great rooftop bar and pool, would recommend, but stay in a superior room.

"MS Maestranza, Malaga"
Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel has a great terrace on the top floor with views of the coast, port and city centre. The beach is only a couple of minutes away as are all the bars and restaurants at the port. The Galopain cafe attached to the hotel is very good too. You can walk into the city centre in ten minutes and there is also a great walk up to the castle too which starts near the hotel. Worth stopping for a drink at the parador at the top. Malaga city centre is very nice with plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you going. It is also easy to reach the local bus station or the main bus and train stations if you want to visit anywhere out of Malaga. It is easy to get buses or trains to the resorts along the coast or to one of the nearby cities such as Granada, Seville or Cordoba. All in all, Malaga is a cracking place for a city break.
