Stayed here for one night stop-over prior to going to our week's accommodation in Estepona. Little to fault with the hotel apart from our room position. All rooms appear to have some form of sea or garden room view but ours was at the east end of the hotel and was blighted by the constant noise of traffic on the A-7 dual carriageway. The air-con did not seem to function too well so had to keep the balcony door open to cool the room down and this was when the constant traffic noise came into play. Also when sitting on the balcony the noise was very obtrusive. That said the hotel was excellent. The staff were attentive and spoke superb English. Breakfast was something to behold with mountains of food. Dinner was superb but a little pricey. Overall, though, if you want to pamper yourself, I can thoroughly recommend the Kempinski in Estepona.
One night stay - a gift from my husband. We managed to park and book in before midday which was a bonus. Efficient and friendly reception. Large, comfortable room with lovely views over grounds and sea. Beautiful spaces, facilities, pools and gardens. Best manicure ever and a surprise treat of a bottle of bubbly and cake delivered to our room - guess they overheard conversation or got date from passport. Great breakfast catering to all tasteless. We will stay again.
If you love peace and quiet - then this will be just perfect for you. Nice rooms (we had a junior suite - recommended). Good food. Lovely staff. In secluded countryside but still close enough to visit all of the main tourist sites if you wish. Best to hire a car from Malaga airport and drive to the hotel - not too hard to find - the management (led by the charming Jose) will I feel sure send you directions (they did for us).
Just relax and enjoy. We certainly did.
For me and my family, Puente Romano is a haven. Not far from London, the whole place is a perfect get away. I have just loved my 6th visit to the hotel, and this certainly will not be my last. For me it is an annual trip and the hotel cannot be beaten.
I decided to try a short break away with my wife and another couple and selected Los Monteros for reasons I can't actually recall. That said it transpired to be a great choice. A classy hotel, even though on the older side it retained an air of elegance. A simple but well kept and intimate place worthy of a return visit.
Rich with Andalusian ambience, this luxury hotel is located on the Costa del Sol's “Golf Mile,” five km (three miles) from …More
Great hotel, food choice and quality excellent, something for every ones taste. We had room 504 the view from the bathroom window of Gibraltar and Morocco , just made you want to stay in the shower that little bit longer.
Just loved our stay and have no problem recommending this hotel to anybody. Don't like going back to the same area, it's a big world out there, but would come back here without hesitation.
This hotel is perfect for families with small children. We were just there as a couple but noticed that most of the guest were young families. There are plenty of pools and programs for the children. The breakfast food in the buffet was very good and varied. It is on a centeal areas of Torremolinos and being on the boardwalk is a bonus. I would highly recommend it. If you are not fond of children then perhaps an adults only hotel would be a better choice.
