This hotel probably has one of best room designs that I have seen in a long time. As you walk in, a small lobby is split with good wardrobe space on the right and a large bathroom on the left. There were twin beds in the large bedroom area. You then move down 2 steps into a lounge area with a comfortable sofa, fridge, television, open shelving space and additional cupboard space. That, in turn, leads to an open air balcony with chairs and tables and a corner for drying up your washing. Unfortunately the balcony faces onto a minor road on which there are communal dustbins which residents of the area fill up during the course of the day and then noisily emptied at 1:30 in the morning by the dustcart. The room (& hotel) is probably of late 1970s construction and would benefit from an upgrade. The pool, surrounded by tall buildings and quite small, gets a thumbs down.
Apart from that I was very pleasantly surprised by the 5 days here.
