"Marbella Playa Hotel Gran Confort"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Marbella Playa Hotel! The employees were friendly, although a bit disorganized when it came to payment and charging things to the room (not unusual for Spain.) The pool and beach facilities were great, although you have to pay extra for the sun beds on the beach. A taxi or car rental is needed to get to Marbella center. If you miss breakfast you can't order food until 12:30 when the beach bar opens, but there is an Open Cor supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the hotel so that was convenient. The water slides and kiddie pool looked fun, I would definitely recommend this to families with children, however as students in our early 20's we still had a great time.

"I was delighted with the location of this resort."
This resort and the facilities in the 2 bed apartment we had were exactly what I would have wanted included. The kitchen was well fitted out to prepare meals, as I mainly ate in this suited me very well. The nearby supermarket (approx a five min walk) had a fantastic range of products. The resort has two pools, although this early in the season it was mainly the heated outdoor pool that was used. There was also a small gym and tennis courts for those who wanted to enjoy some exercise. There also seemed to be cleaners around and the came in to the apartment on our 4th day and did a good clean including changing the beds and taking away and replacing towels. As there were lots of towels, both in the bathroom and additional in the wardrobe, I found this sufficient. While we were there the temperature at night dropped quite quickly, however, there were heaters and extra blankets and this made the apartment very cosy. The free 24 hr wifi down at reception was very useful, and whilst I saw lots of people paying the ten Euro for wifi in their rooms and around the pool, I did not feel I needed that. The free shuttle bus to Club Marbella was very useful as it was uphill from Calahonda, and on visiting Club Marbella my daughter was disappointed to find that its wifi went off at 18.30, whilst Calahonda's was 24 hr.

"Clean, and a great value for money hotel."
For the price and where this hotel is situated, you cannot find better . My freinds stop in a hotel not far away at the same time as we did Oct2012 and paid three times as much. Its not fancy but clean and that matters.

"Another Great Early Break"
A return all-inclusive stay as we enjoyed it last time. Same early season but everything up and running even if the weather wasn't. For non-package booking easy to get to by train (price and timetable), so no worries when flight delayed. Short walk to hotel with trolley cases. Rooms are functional and clean with focus on service and food/beverage (we were not holidaying in the room!). Food is good and plenty but long stays and it may be repetitive. Great for kids to help themselves and try everything - not just lashings of ice cream. Entertainment is good with 90% OK and fitting the varied ages and nationalities. They take feedback and the one weak act won't last the season. Good place to chill out and secure for the kids. The region is set up for tourism so plenty to do on days out by bus, train or taxi. When the sun died we went back to the zoo (nice and compact for kids to run around) and back to Malaga (too much to do in one day).

"Lovely quiet hotel on the beach in Estepona"
Despite only 2 days of sun with the rest of the week in grey clouds and rain we had a lovely stay at H10 Estepona Palace taking advantage of the buffet and spa facilities as we couldn't use the pool. The 15min walk to Estepona Port can be taken via the Beach which was lovely and quiet (very local) or the road and leads you to a variety of restaurants and bars and a supermarket. 10 mins more walking and you are into the town centre. The buses are easy to use to get about we used the bus to come and go to Malaga, Marbella and Gibraltar for a day. Overall a lovely place to stay if you want peace and quiet away from the touristy Costa del Sol.

"Great hotel opposite the sea with great all inc"
We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel has a big spacious lobby, the check in was quick, the staff spoke English very well and were all friendly and engaging. The all inclusive offering was excellent - the three main meals all had a great variety and choice - obviously don't come expecting Michelin star food - but there is something for everyone and plenty of it - the self service bar during lunch and dinner is the icing on the cake (which they also serve plenty of) The room was clean / we opted for a sea view which was perfect/ the beds are a bit basic / the bathroom is good / housekeeping come everyday to clean room and change towels which was very welcome. We went to the evening entertainment every night and really enjoyed the shows (again it's not Broadway) our daughter took part in the kids club and they have an award slot for the kids in the evening and some kids entertainment - this along with a bar in the entertainment room with friendly staff and short queues meant you could have a nice relaxing night. The hotel has 3 outdoor pools but as we came in February although the weather was nice (20*c) the pools were a bit chilly - there is a small indoor pool and jacuzzi - which got a bit busy until just before mealtimes. All in all we were very impressed and will definitely be coming back.
