"this was a disappointing stay. The room was not at all like the photo on the website - smaller and more basic. The breakfast was OK and the views nice but the service was neither welcoming nor hospitable. The main issue we had was with the WIFI - our booking indicated it was available in the room but when we arrived we were told by the Reception staff that there was only WIFI in the lobby and a few rooms above the lobby which according to the staff were more expensive. "We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay.
