The Hilton has an amazing property nestled into the Mallorcan countryside. It is near some of the best beaches on the island and also is in the midst of great roads for cycling. The property is impeccable and possesses that old world charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful when assisting us with making dinner reservations or selecting a beach to visit. The hotel is about 25-30 minutes outside of Palma, so I recommend you rent a car if you are staying at this hotel. The hotel restaurant is very good, but would like to note that there aren't many alternative dining options in the immediate vicinity. You can find other restaurants about 10-15 minutes away, but recommend driving into Palma if you have the time.
I was unsure what to expect after reading the reviews but i was suprised to find the hotel not to bad at all. On arrival the receptionist wasnt too helpful but i have put that down to it being late at night. When we got to our room it was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. We woke early and went to breakfast, food was basic but still nice. We got a sunbed round the pool easily and helped ourselfs to drinks all day. Lunch and dinner was also basic but edable. There isnt anything going on in the evening but that suited us as we only went for the sun and a rest, so we would walk down to the beach which took about 10mins and had a looked in the shops before heading back and grabbing a drink to take to our room. All in all it was a no frills holiday, we wanted a quick get away before the school summer holidays and thats exactly what we got. If we had the children with us they would have been bored as the park is a swing and thats it but the water park is across the road . We are pleased with what we got for the money after seeing the other hotels in the strip down to the beach. If you want 5* this isnt it, you get what you pay for.
Arrived and welcomed with a smiley face. Shown to the lift and given info about the hotel including meal times.
Our room was 002 and on the 1st floor overlooking the pool. Great space, good shower, excellent a/c and for me nice bed. The room was extremely clean. The tv was small, but who wants to stay in their room and watch television. Only 1 English channel (BBC World News). The room is equipped with a safe. (small local charge). The pool was quite small but never busy. There were plenty of chairs and beds and area was kept very clean and tidy. The bar was just inside from the pool and well stocked (Great Sangria). We were All Inclusive and there was a drinks menu with high lighted drinks available free of charge). Breakfast starts at 8am, lunch at 1pm and dinner at 7.30pm. Lunch and dinner for A/I clients were bottles of wine, red, white, rose and if not drinkers then the bottle is labelled for a later meal. The food, for a smallish 3* hotel was excellent.
GREAT hotel and fantastic good value for money.
I went to Hotel Manaus in September and found the hotel to be great. I enjoyed the food and there was a good selection. You will always get people that will complain but I thought it was great. It wasn't the very best of food but it wasn't the worst either. The location of this hotel is brilliant as it is not too far from the lively part of town yet the hotel is in a quiet location. I thought this was brilliant. There is a small and homely feel to this hotel and I would definately recommend it.
A welcoming foyer and staff on arrival ,we were quickly allocated our room on the 1st floor .The room was spacious ,clean and had a veranda that overlooked the pool area but was obscured by the restaurant roof ,no problem, as it was still nice Plenty of storage space curtains were bright with a blackout curtain behind ,to keep the room cool from the afternoon sun ,Air -con was installed .The bed was a little hard for my taste but ok . rooms tidied and refreshed every day towels changed if required and a sheet change every 3 days ,.The restaurant on foyer level consisted of buffet style ,breakfast was continental with plenty of choice and a cooked breakfast also all drinks from the machines , lunch and dinner had a large selection of salads and also cooked meals ,drinks were free from dispensers desserts had a good choice including fruit at all meals . The staff were friendly ,efficient and cleared tables immediately . There was always a fabulous selection of food to suit all tastes . downstairs was the entertainment lounges and pools. The pools were cleaned every day and sunbeds were hosed down before the pool opened at 10 am there was a kiddies pool and an indoor pool located in a separate building along with the sauna and gymnasium. darts ,table tennis and pool tables were available A lifeguard was on duty all day until the pool closed at 8pm, the bar staff were always friendly, I would definitely recommend this hotel and intend to go back there next year .
The staff are extremely helpful, courteous and polite. The hotel was spotlessly clean, room cleaned every day and fresh towels. Lovely bathroom, no sign of mould anywhere as you sometimes find!! We had a large balcony on the top floor, which overlooked the town and the hills in the distance, with a sea glimpse. It took us one minute to walk to the lovely beach. The restaurant was also spotless, with used dishes being removed from your table promptly. Always a clean table cloth and shiny cutlery. A large selection of breakfast and dinner dishes. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
