Hi Sandra,It was lovely to meet you and talk with you a few times. I would like to address your concerns. First, we have a card in the room that asks, before you post on line, please let us rectify anything that isn't to your liking. I am not sure why you didn't bring your concerns to my attention so that it could be rectified when we were talking? That said, you asked to stay for another night, but unfortunately we were sold out and could not accommodate you for a 4th night. Your concerns: There is in fact a safety bar built into the bathtub unit. It is all one unit. I can send you a picture if you like. Yes, The ceiling fans and windows were scheduled for a cleaning and were done shortly after your stay. They do become quite buggy as we are situated in the middle of the forest. I can clean the windows one day and the next, they are already covered with webs and bugs. Backsplash wasn't greasy I checked. Blinds are a problem. We are constantly installing new blinds to only have them broken shortly thereafter. Yes the kitchen tap needs replacing. As for our 'lame' pillows, people have asked to purchase them, so I think it is a personal preference and not so much lame. Covid aftermath and staff shortages are a big problem everywhere. We do our best given the circumstances and we will always strive to do better.

Hi James,We are sorry you didn’t know how to connect your devices to our WIFI. The WIFI was working. Everyone else had no issues. You had booked one night on Expedia. The next day you locked your door with your contents in it, then put your key in the drop box. Then you went out, got lost & left a message for us saying you didn’t know how to get back to the Inn. By the time we picked up your message, you had already made your way back. Then you asked for your key back to access your room, & requested if you could stay another night.. to which we moved another guest so you could stay in the same room. You had left 10 messages for us on Expedia, & several messages for us on our phone machine. Not once was there a message that you didn’t have a key b/c you had a key. I watched you using your key. It was a pleasure having you at the Inn. We are happy you enjoyed your time at the cafe, although our guests were a little taken back when you took several pictures inside the cafe when it was full of people. We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. In future… should you stay with us again, & we hope you do… please bring anything you are unhappy with to our attention right away so we can correct it or assist you, or help you find your key. :)

Dear Amanda,I called you personally to let you know that there would be a 20.00 charge for the dog. You happily said sure no problem. When you arrived, 4 people got out of the vehicle. I asked you if 4 people were staying in the room. You replied yes. I said but you only booked for 2 people on Expedia, to which you replied “a room is a room” in a very entitled manner!!Then you went on to say that you have never changed the amount of people when booking on Expedia, you always book for 2 people even if there are more. We found you to be very rude and entitled. Its not often we get offended by a guest, There has been only one other time in our 5 yrs of operating our Inn and receiving thousands of people that we have requested a guest Not return, please consider yourself the second person. Hi Maija, Thank you for your kind review. We are so sorry the wifi wasn't working. With Starlink being a beta program there was zero customer support. My lovely brother came up from Toronto and got it working for us. so it is all good now. the Cafe is struggling with staffing issues as are most places right now. We hope to see you soon. Take care.
