Wonderful long weekend!
We had a lovely stay in this home. The house had everything we needed and was super convenient to skiing and many dining locations. Owners were easy to work with and very responsive to questions and requests. We will be back!

Great cabin!
This was a great little cabin so close to the main road. It felt like home as the owners have thought of every convenience! They also have detailed instructions and organization. It is very clean other than a desperate need for dusting. The only complaint would be the propane smell coming from the downstairs fireplace.

Hi Tiffany! Thank you for your review. We're thrilled you enjoyed our cabin. We also want to thank you for the heads up regarding the dusting. We take pride in our deep cleaning, but have noted we can do better where light dusting is concerned. Regarding the lower level fireplace, most can not smell the pilot light, but for those few who can there is a red knob that can switch it off. We loved having you as our guests and hope you will visit again.

Can’t wait to come back! This is a gem!
We had an awesome experience this week in Maggie Valley. Perfectly located just a little ways up the mountain off the main strip. The road up isn’t too steep and there is flat parking right by the front door. The cabin is on a cute little street with a few other cabins. The cabin is super homey. It is just like staying at your family’s cabin. It is well stocked with most anything you could need during your stay. It is not bare and bland like many traditional rentals. The downstairs is like being in a separate little apartment. Beds are comfortable and the space is clean. We were beyond impressed! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Cozy Cottage MTN View
4 girlfriends stayed for a family wedding. We liked the 2 separate living areas which add privacy, but also gave us time to be together on the main level kitchen and living room. It was warm and inviting. The outside porches were really comfortable. Parking easy. Access paved. Near Ski area.Please add a pizza pan😊

Wonderful Cabin
It was a very clean and cozy Cabin. We had so much fun exploring nearby places such as the Smoky Mountains and the Cataloochee Ski slopes, etc. We would definitely comeback. Thank you Grandma Rocky for letting us stay in such a nice place!

Nice quiet cabin
Family of 6, two adults, 12, 10, 5 and 4 year old. We originally had more people coming but they couldn’t make it. This property is cute and charming. We arrived around 7pm so things were a bit dark. We missed the sign in front of the cabin but finally figured it out. I got a little confused how to get the door opened but that was my fault, 4 kids 6 hour drive that turned into an. 8 hour drive; I was aggravated. Thank God for the patient husband!! Walking into the cabin, it was like a breath of fresh air. It was warm, clean and homey. We looked around and I was just excited about the two bedrooms, even though I knew it said three. However, my older two kids found the stairs and they got super excited about having the whole bottom floor to themselves. We brought our own towels and blankets to keep from messing anyone else’s stuff up but they have all of that if you need it. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates if needed too but the closest store is Dollar general, there’s two actually; one closes at 5 though. The closest grocery store is Publix and it closes at 9. We didn’t utilize the kitchen because the restaurant around are AMAZING. The people are all so sweet. We did take the owners advice and take the kids to Tube world and they all had a blast. The one thing I will say and it’s not a con. I’m just not use to the cold. (Super South Georgia) the bedroom with the king size bed has a shower but if you step out of the shower from hot water there is a bit of a draft, just be prepared for that but other than that the house stays warm. We didn’t touch the temperature they had it set to. We used the furnace in the top living area for the smaller kids to see it but it gets hot in the house quickly when on. I would definitely love to come back to this place! And our four year old let us know as we were pulling into our house that we came back to the wrong house!

We had the best Thanksgiving! We had several houses on this street for the week for my family. This house is designed great for two families and to spread out. The owners were very sweet and accommodating and always available!

This was a beautiful house located in a very nice area. Easy to get to and located right off the main road coming in to the valley. Grandma Rocky was a very sweet and helpful host. Will stay at this location again.

It was a wonderful cabin. The hosts were great. Very nice view of the mountains off the front porch. The hosts left plenary of amenities to make any guests feel comfortable. Kids enjoyed the 2 cozy fireplaces.

It doesn’t get better than this! The cabin was extremely well appointed and very clean. The beds were so comfortable we actually slept in several mornings!! They’ve thought of everything - hair dryers, fully stocked kitchen, and the perfect layout. The garage was extra special because we could park the motorcycles and keep them protected. The setting is quiet and tranquil (we were early in the season so that may be why) but close to everything. When we wanted to stay an extra day, Grandma Rocky was perfectly accommodating. We will definitely be back next spring!!

Very nice and clean property. Very convenient and close to the slopes. Three bedrooms with bathrooms in each -so worked great for our three families visiting over a weekend to go skiing. Would definitely rent again.

We went to Maggie Valley to ring in the new year, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay to do that! We ended up being at the house a lot more than we anticipated due to the Skii Resort closing for weather, and it was perfect! We had no complaints!

Amazing View with the comforts of home
The area was quiet and peaceful. This home had all the comforts of home. I loved waking up with a cup of coffee and sitting on the porch looking at the picturesque mountain scene. We loved the fireplace. It’s very clean and the beds were comfy. Great restaurants were a short drive. We ate breakfast at Joeys Pancakes and it was phenomenal. In any direction, there are adventures waiting. We had a great time at Dollywood. Thank you so much for opening your home and giving us the opportunity to create wonderful memories. We will definitely be coming back here!!

Beautiful space for a couples trip
My husband an I came to town with two other couples who we normally travel with to celebrate their birthdays. Tracy the host checked in with me days prior to coming, as well as she let me check in a little early since we arrived in town earlier than the normal check-in time. The space was equipped to host 3 couples and we had an extra living area downstairs that we never used. the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials needed for our home cooked meals every morning and I put that Keurig to uses every morning. We were able to sit out on the back deck and watch the sun go down and the clouds hovered over the mountains early morning. Each couple was able to spend quality time alone in the spacious bedrooms. And us women had plenty of space to pamper ourselves as we hit the streets to go to the casino which is our favorite pastime and its only a 20 minute ride down the mountain. We also spent all day Sunday up in Pigeon Forge. Also if you all go, stop by the Maggie Valley Country CLub for a meal,.. I promise this hidden gem is worth the 8 minute drive, ask for the prime-rib and tell them the Pearce's sent you.. Thank you Grandma Rocky and we will see you next year..

Beautiful mountain home
We loved our stay at this property. The check in process was easy and the owner gave thorough information prior to check in, including directions to the cabin. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and labeled to make things easy to find. While we were there we visited ski ski lodge, Asheville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We also spent a day exploring Maggie Valley. The views are beautiful and we will definitely be back!

Location of cabin perfect off of main road. Very clean and very cozy with fireplace but did not enjoy being so close to other neighbors, especially front porch. Bedroom tv did not work in one master and spent several minutes trying to fix another. Kitchen very organized with cooking necessities! All in all, cute, comfy and very clean spot for a short getaway as is in within driving distance to several things! Beds also pretty comfortable!

Great home, great location.
This is a nice comfortable home with plenty of room for 2 couples. Only discrepancy was that the tvs in the bedrooms do not work and the listing states there is a microwave and small refrigerator downstairs, however there are none. Listing could be undated to omit these items. All in all, we had a great week and would definitely rent this home again.

Hi Melanie, we are just delighted that you enjoyed our cabin and found it comfortable and conveniently located. Regarding the TV's in the upstairs bedrooms not working, they have since been fixed. The reason we suggest calling Spectrum, if/when there is a problem is because we are located out of state and are unable to assist. Usually what happens is guests who stay prior to your arrival change things to use laptops, Netflix, video games, etc and do not reset the TV's for normal viewing access. Often you simply need to unplug then re-plug both cable and TV back in. Should something else need to be tweaked, Spectrum would be able to walk you though it within minutes. We will suggest to our guests to please return the TV's to normal viewing, when altered, before checking out to try and lesson this issue. Overall good. Cable in bedrooms doesnt work, property owner wants guests to call and get it fixed. But I didnt want to waste my vacation time on the phone . I guess it hasn't been working for a while according to the past guest book. But, other than that it was good.

Maggie's Serenity was the perfect cabin for our family get away to the moutains. The cabin layout was great and it had everything you needed for your stay -- with labels to find items! the location was great to explore the Great Smoky Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Pisgah Forrest, Asheville, and more Wifi was great too! We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Perfect cabin
This cabin was perfect! It was fully stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need on your vacation and even extras. We enjoyed the outside setting on the front and back porch every single day. The upper and lower paved driveway with the garage was fantastic because we brought our motorcycles. The cabin was located so close to town it made every outing so convenient. Having three bedroom with three bathrooms accommodated family and friends wonderfully. The cabin had a gorgeous Decour in every room. I would highly recommend this cabin! I would not hesitate to rent this cabin again in the near future. The butterfly bush beside the cabin was extra special for me. Every single day it was visited by butterflies and other pollinators. I enjoyed watching them throughout the day with me being such a butterfly enthusiast. 😊🦋

Easy access and plenty of room
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. My family of 6 stayed very comfortably here. The roads to the cabin were very easy to drive and there were no problems pulling out onto the main road. Most things to do in this area were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and were not over crowded on the days that attractions were open. This was a very relaxing vacation. The cabin had everything you needed to cook full meals. Just bring your own groceries and you don’t even have to go out to eat unless you want to. The cabin is in a good location to visit surrounding cities. We went to Asheville one day and grandfather mountain and little Switzerland another day. We went through the Wheels Through Time while in Maggie Valley and enjoyed our visit to Papa Rosa knife shop right in Maggie Valley also. We went one day to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We were glad we stayed in Maggie Valley because it is so much more peaceful there but you also have access to fun activities. Could not ask for a better cabin to stay in. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in a quiet community then this is the cabin for you.

The key to an amazing family vacation!
Maggie’s Serenity was the perfect home-base for our family’s adventures in Western NC! The owners provided timely, friendly & detailed communications. The cabin decor is delightful & the layout provided plenty of space for relaxing. The cabin was stocked with so many little yet thoughtful extras (hand soap, dishwasher tabs, laundry soap) that led to such an accommodating experience. The front porch views were breathtaking. Being able to bring our fur babies was the icing on top of a marvelous vacation! Thank you Grandma Rocky & Tracy.

The location was very good and the cabin was nicely maintained and arranged... It really felt like a fully equipped cabin, just like the other reviews indicated. Here are a few suggestions for improvement: 1. The street number is blocked by a evergreen tree and we walked around to find the right house. 2. The basement temperature (no change was allowed) was much much colder than the main floor. We had to shut off all the basement vents in the middle of the night because it's just too cold. 3. Your welcome letter (email) for directions (e.g., we couldn't find K-mart), and suggestions for local restaurants may need some updates.

Views were beautiful. Within walking distance to restaurants. (Steep hill to get back). They thought of everything from extra mittens, jackets to spices and dish soap. The cabin is lovely. It was everything we needed for a vacation with our dogs and family. We would love to stay here again.

Amazing spacious cabin
This was our first combined new family trip, it was also everyones first time to Maggie Valley. The cabin was amazing, it was like a house more than a cabin. A lot of the ones I seen online were more like studios, not this one this is a 3 bedroom house. They had everything laid out for us, utinsels, cooking stuff, cleaning supplies, blankets, coats... All the added decor throughout really made this feel like home away from home. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maggie Vally!

Fun, Clean, Perfect for the Setting
The decor was fun, made it feel like your home in the mountains. There were a few games and puzzles that entertained the kids for hours. The location had great views in a nice neighborhood. The best compliment I could give is that if we were to return to the area, this is the first place I would want to reserve.
