Okay, but tired
This is located with a dozen other name brand hotels, so we were surprised to find out how tired the decor was. Beat up walls in the elevator, groans when the elevator was working, tired furniture in the room. But, I'm happy the breakfast offerings were varied and they used washable plates. We just needed to crash for the night, but if I would to spend more time in town, or had a different purpose, I would choose another hotel.

The people at the front desk very nice and helpful. The places could use some updating and many new chairs, bed was soft but we slept very well. It is old but very clean. Breakfast was great! Will stay there again.

Stayed two nights on 9/17/22. The condition of the room was deplorable. Tile floors and counters were sticky, carpet had stains, bathroom sink had whiskers left in it. The room has experienced extreme wear and needs updating. We used the pull out sofa for our kids to sleep on, but the metal frame was in such bad shape that it was dangerous, so we moved the mattress to the floor for their safety. We went down to breakfast at 8:30 and the offerings were meager and picked over, and the eating and serving areas were dirty. Would not recommend.

Not happy
I was very disappointed the place was old, dirty & it has pet oder really bad. Carpet was bad through out . I didn't feel safe locks were not secure. To much $ for this place.

Stay was nice. Hotel has a great location for visiting Madison area. Room was nice and breakfast was very nice. Staff was great. Nat did a nice job combining 2 reservations and was welcoming. Cameron was excellent too especially with a small billing issue. Seems to have resolved it quickly. Definitely stay here again.

We left home early so we could check in right at 3m so we could enjoy the pool. I had called ahead before I booked to verify the pool was open and told yes. At check in they informed us the pool was closed. Had they reached out to me earlier I wld have booked somewhere else. There room was dirty. Inside the kitchen cabinets was dead flies.

The location was nice because it was across the street from a Perkins. Everything else was horrible. The rooms were disgusting, not clean, definitely did not feel Covid safe. There were crumbs and dog hair in the hide a bed and the room was set to 60° when we arrived and took forever to warm up. The night staff was nice but the morning staff was chatting on the phone and went to the back room when I came to the front. Definitely not Marriott quality.

Overnight Stay.
The stay was OK overall. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was pleasant. When we arrived; however, their system did not show our payment through hotels.com and we were charged again. After several phone calls, a refund was eventually provided. We had a 1st floor room and the people above were up all night and the noises were loud. We did not sleep well as a result. I suggest a room on an upper floor.

Beds were really uncomfortable. The room looked a little neglected (chipping paint etc) the carpet looked old and dirty and felt that way. Just didn’t have a great experience.

Pool too small.
Pool is pretty small, ok for small kids but older kids and adults would want it to be bigger. Hot tub not operational. Full garage can in our room upon check in. Bathroom flooded on day 2. All issues fixed promptly with a smile. Great breakfast.
