I have stayed here before and was lucky enough to get a room for one night on a game weekend (usually they require 2 nights on game weekends). Check-in and parking was easy, lobby is very nice and spacious. King room was not enormous but plenty large enough for our needs. Room was very clean and bed is super comfortable. Never heard any noise outside of the room except for some vehicle noises in the morning, as we faced out to the street. Bathroom is well equipped. Breakfast offerings were good and well stocked, with a nice variety. Definitely my number one choice for hotels in Madison.

The room was comfortable and the housekeeping department did an excellent job. I had forgot an item in the dresser drawer. When I remembered it was missing 2 days later I contacted the housekeeping department. They had found it and were holding it for me. The restaurant was very good and the wait staff there were excellent. The front desk staff was often abrupt and often were busy talking to each other.
Beautiful location! But. hotel is still under construction; room rate is high and is more than a typical stay in a major US city top notch hotel. As part of growing - recommend setting shower to be able to receive as hot of water as possible - meeting the need of the user- particularly on cold Wisconsin days!

This hotel is perfectly located to the center of the city, right across from the capital building. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It's also a great deal for what the hotel costs.
It was fantastic except for breakfast. I was shocked that breakfast wasn't included for that price.
We had breakfast at 10:30 am or later. The waiter said that the price of the bouffet was $13 a person so I was shocked when the total bill was $35.50
There wasn't much to choose from with the scrambled eggs. They was just the leftovers scraped from the edge. The french toast was terrible. The fruit and juice and sausages were good.
The service was great.
Sunday we walked over to the Best Western and ordered off of the menu. We both had scrambled eggs, french toast and orange juice. It was $23 total plus a $5 tip. That food was fantastic. We won't make the same mistake about having anything to eat at the Hilton.
Check -in prompt. Room clean and ready. Good restaurant food. And-at the end of the evening we got to enjoy the young men in the pool area who were singing-and they had wonderful voices!(This is a positive, not a negative comment). It was a nice ending for the day.
