Hotel staff made us feel awful for having booked with hotels.com instead of them directly. Awful. Awful. Showed complete lack of flexibility when we dealt with a major family illness and forced us to go that night .. we were only asking to postpone one night and they confirmed they had plenty of space. Told us they could have accommodated us if we had not used you, and outside agency.
Then made sure they told us we could reserve the spa only for an hour, a strict hour. Point. Absolutely awful, very stressful, made us feel bad, treatment on the phone by the agent entrusted with the front desk.
Then, when we arrived, great reception, great room, overpriced but solid bar, excellent spa.
Too bad the hotel staff made us feel like low life before we went.
