Enjoyed our short stay! Clean, large, and pleasant room; small but sufficiently stocked kitchenette; comfortable beds; friendly staff at the check-in counter; secure underground paid parking. Stayed here with kids. Would stay again.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. Each morning while having breakfast at the ground floor restaurant the staff were always cleaning up, replenishing supplies, and always presenting smiles, and helping out people. The same calls also for the people at the front desk. They were incredibly helpful assisting with finding an ATM, a laundromat, and a shop selling small food items. When I needed something from my room or Taxi, they were happy to help and quickly responding. They were always pleasant to talk with.

Avoid thos place!
There was no air conditioning in the rooms. When I realized and asked the front desk they were very rude and insisted it was my fault for not knowing. I needed to change hotels - the temperature over the next few days was >30C. They refused to refund the remaining nights. I left and contacted Hotels.com and they were able to get my refund. Air will be out for quite some time. I would not go back simply because of the way I was treated.

Great stay
Clean facility, spacious room and bathroom. Small kitchen but sufficient. Breakfast (paid separately) was great in a nice dining room. Staff were helpful and nice. It's minor, but thought that they could do better: Kitchen utensils were old and not matching.

Check in was smooth, the reception was helpful and communication was great. Perfect location, quiet and easily accessible to the city, there is a bus station just 200m around.

Below Mediocre
Stayed at Appart’ City Cite International for the Women’s World Cup week in Lyon. Upon arrival, we were under the impression that our hotel at A/C. Of course during the entire week stay and record breaking heat wave in France, our room did not have and air. It was miserably hot, and could barely sleep comfortably. After asking about the A/C situation, the receptionist became irritated and rude the duration of stay. She let us switch rooms but it was only to another room with no A/C. The lobby was the only place where there was any. We also were not aware that the hotel only allowed you one set of clean towels during the duration of your stay, unless you were there longer than 7 days! I will say that the rooms were rather clean at least. If everything was not fully booked due to the World Cup, we would have found somewhere else to stay. Luckily we were out and about 90% of our time in Lyon area. The biggest frustration besides the air was the rudeness from the day shift receptionist. No customer service etiquette what so ever. I would not stay at another Appart’City hotel after this experience.

Good little apartment with large renovated bathroom, good bed and some English shows on TV. Staff very good, basic kitchenette facility but adequate. Free parking nearby if you wish to find it. Air con didn't really work. Not much to local area that we could see, but easy to get to from motorway

Got to the hotel very late, check-in was simple and quick. The hotel itself is ok, looks more like an old office building than a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful to us. Our room was huge, and I meant huge even by our US standards. It got a kitchen and everything. Just a quick over night so don't know how the area is, etc. The only thing I know is it's right next to a highway, since early the next day we're back on the highway in 30 seconds.

Greeted as I walked through the door by friendly staff who helpful transport advice for my trip and also highlighted the relevant areas on a map. Room was fresh, new, light and clean. Throughout my stay all staff where helpful, especially at check in and check out. A good and plentiful breakfast rounded off a great visit.

Comfortable and convenient hotel
Spacious room with comfortable bed very convenient for the conference centre just across the river. Good breakfast buffet included in my booking in pleasant restaurant that served food in the evening too (although I didn’t eat dinner there). My only suggestion for improvement is I would prefer carpet rather than hard flooring. Would go back.

Pillows r rubbish Metal gate outside bedroom is so loude and banging every hour with no joy to sleep. Very bad night sleep Stafff on the other hand are amazing. Very helpful and always there to help

Great hotel, a little out of the way, but within a 40-50 min walk to old town. The apartment was spacious, clean and functional. The only 2 negative points are that the internet is extremely slow, and the sofa bed was not comfortable at all.

5 rooms booked, and when we turned up they told us 2 of rooms had been moved to another hotel.....8km away!! Totally ruined our trip. Without that the hotel is in a useless location. Outside the city centre and no metro stop in the area.

Nice hotel but let down by staff and petiness
Really nice hotel and good value. Unfortunately also a little penny pinching, for example tea and coffee making facilities did not include tea or coffee, Wi-Fi was not free but just over one euro per day, 5 euros per hour to check in early, would not give change for taxi.

Great find for a stop over!
Booked at the last minute as we were travelling back from Italy to the UK. Easy to find hotel just off the motorway. Great sized room and easily divided into 2. The food in the restaurant was excellent and our waiter (Stefan) was very attentive. Not all of the hotels in this chain have restaurants - so do check. The only downside was the fact that they have eco friendly lightbulbs and they take and age to light up, so you are literally in the dark! Also it was quite dark in the bathroom., but would not hesitate to recommend or to stay here again.
