Check-in went smoothly. The website I used provided inaccurate information about the room. Hotel staff was able switch rooms to accommodate my family.

Dog park was good, loved hot tub, and nightly cookies, hotel pantry was full and reasonably priced, all staff was very very kind and helpful. Also, good breakfast. Wifi was sketchy at times. Local craft create location was awesome (Fair Heart).

We only had to stay for one night but would stay again. Love that not only is it pet friendly but they had an enclosed dog park behind the hotel.

Rooms were clean and acceptable. But, terrible food!! Worst eggs ever, the dog wouldn’t eat them. We travel with a pet, keep him leashed & with us. We never leave him locked in the room when we go somewhere. No so for some, the barking is ridiculous. Leaving pets in the room alone is not the way to be a good pet parent.

It was very clean, even the carpet was freshly shampooed! The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet! The staff was very friendly. I recommend using regular/real eggs, maybe scrambled, vs. pre-fab foldables with cheese.

Happy to find a dog friendly hotel even though i wasn't able to bring my pup at the last minute. There was a nice area outside that was fenced for dogs to run and stretch which i really loved. However, my room had a bad smell and the carpet was stained and dirty so i was afraid to walk on it without shoes. Another positive was that the breakfast was really good and the cookies at night were a nice touch. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay. Facilities are clean and welcoming. The indoor pool and pool size jacuzzi were very pleasant. The breakfast provided was great. Great variety of warm food as well as cereal and yogurt. I would defined stay here again.

Only stayed for 1 night. Hotel was very clean, the room smelled a bit musty but a little room spray I brought did the trick. Pool and hot tub were nice but the jets were broke on most in the hot tub, only came out of the middle area. Overall was fine stay,

We’ve stayed here the last 3 or so years. The pool is fantastic and staff is very nice. Free breakfast. This time, we could really tell that they’re dog friendly. Our room smelled like dog and guests were bringing their dogs into the food area. Unsure if we’ll stay again as we don’t prefer the dog smell in our room. Everything else is great.

Weekday getaway to Ludington.
We had a nice couple nite stay at Holiday Inn Express! The staff from front desk, breakfast room, and housekeeping were all exceptionally friendly! Good hikes at the state park, relaxing soak in the enormous hot tub, and a great meal at Jamesport Brewery. Just a nice midweek getaway!
