"The hotel is perfectly located for the old city. We had the Deluxe Room and all the details were perfect - bathrobes, slippers, two sinks, huge shower and bath with luxurious toiletries. The decor was modern with a hint of tradition. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We could hear birds in the morning and the bells of the cathedral. Wonderful sunset over the city skyline. A truly luxurious, indulgent and relaxing stay"

"Front desk staff was excellent, especially Lucas (I hope I got his name right). The only downside was paying for parking. Location is perfect, close to everything!"

"Older building but very modern inside. Great location. Street out front is a bit noisy at night if you have window open. No AC, so on hot nights it’s likely to be so. Really nice decor and breakfast room. "

"Conveniently located just outside Lübeck's north city portal, Burgtor. It's just a few minutes walk into the altstadt with churches, squares, passageways, courtyards, and a variety of beautiful gabled buildings. Loved the breakfast at the hotel and the rainwater shower head. There are a limited number of free outdoor parking spaces which I luckily obtained. Lübeck is wonderful."

" 10 minute walk from train station. Hotel is clean and comfortable; rooms are small but 305 had a small balcony with views of town steeples and courtyard. Showerhead was good (tiny bathroom sink) and the twin bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had many choices of meats and cheeses, cereal and scrambled eggs. Lots of birds around in the trees. A very peaceful stay in a quiet town"

"what must have a been a grand olde dame years ago has shifted to be a nice old hotel. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The parking situation was inconvenient and unusual bordering on confusing. The room itself was very large, but with mostly bare walls and unusual(?) furniture choices. Having said all that, we were pleased with our choice by the time we checked out! We were surprised to read on the website about the "enchanting" garden. It may have been enchanting once , but those...
