Not The Best Place.
If you want something cheap and don’t mind being around the smell of cigarette this is your place. There is trash everywhere outside and people sleeping in cars. The yard by the trash dumpster is full of dog poop. The place also has car tires everywhere.

Not a great stay
Stayed overnight on our way to Chattanooga and checked in pretty late. Requested a non-smoking room but the whole hallway the room was in smelled like cigarette smoke. Found several bugs crawling around in the room which made it difficult to get a good night sleep. Needless to say we left as early as possible.

It was the worst place I have ever stayed in There was never any room service or cleaning of the rooms after each day It was alots very dirty and had roaches. We tried reaching out to someone but havent heard anything back. We need to fix this bad experience with me cause I'm going to turn them into the code force/health department.

Stay was OK for the night. Top lock on my door was broken off. My bathroom light went out the morning of checkout, when I told the staff at checkout they only said "oh okay" Staff was not great. My hallway (4th floor) also reeked of cigarette smoke. Bed was nice and the place was fairly clean, though.

The front desk staff was amazing sweet and super friendly. Housekeeping could have done a better job of cleaning some walls in the bathroom and sweeping the floor but overall cleanliness of the hotel and in the room was good.

We came in very late at 1 am. The front desk responded quickly and was very polite and accommodating. I was not aware it was both a hotel and residence for some. It made me anxious having people hanging about outside at that hour of the morning and a man asleep on the curb in the morning when we left. To top it off there were cockroaches on the wall. I’m not sure I’d ever recommend this place to anyone, I’m sorry.

Roaches
There were several cockroaches in my room. I found them in my clothes and kitchen countertop. I ended up leaving a day before I was supposed to check out. They were coming from under the baseboards on the walls. The front desk personnel were friendly and understanding since there was construction going on.

I'm considering deleting my account on hotels.com due to this hotel. The property description is a total lie! When we walked in, the stench of cigarettes was very apparent. This was interesting because, on hotels.com, it states that the property was “smoke-free.” I was given a document to sign stating the hotel was a smoke-free hotel and that if we smoked, including vaping, we would be charged $250. Now at this point, we should have turned around; however, I knew that I was not going to be refunded by hotels.com and that I would be charged regardless due to being passed the cancelation date and time that hotels.com set. We walked in. The elevator was out of order. That was fine. Things happen. We walked to the stairs and up them. The odor of cigarettes everywhere was apparent. We got to our room, and the smell, combined with the linen that had pet hair, solidified that there was no way that we were staying there overnight. Within twenty minutes, we walked down the stairs, and I handed the hotel key cards back to the front desk and let the lovely lady know that we would not be staying. No one should have to breathe in that toxic smell or sleep in unsanitary conditions. I'm a former dog owner. Pet hair doesn't bother me; however, it is disgusting to walk into a “cleaned” room, and pet hair from another person's pet is on the linen. We ended up booking another hotel for $269 just for the night because there was no way we could stay at this property.

Elevator was broken, we were not informed ahead of time and could not get a refund. Room was on the 4th floor. Shower had multiple peoples hair in it. Room had holes in the walls. A/C did not cool the room, just made a lot of noise. Very dated room. Smoke alarm kept going off at 12:30-1am for the entire building.

The only positive thing I can say is the check in person was very pleasant. We were unaware this hotel houses weekly renters who are hanging around the property. The TV in our room was missing the cable so it didn't work, the bolt on the door was hanging off, there was mold on the showerhead, & we saw a roach come out from under the bed. We were not spending much time there & had paid in full (almost $200 per night) & so we didn't bother to try to get our money back or move to another hotel. I did not leave my suitcase in the room at all for fear of someone stealing it. The second night we were awoken at 3 am by someone screaming, running up and down the hallway & slamming doors. Don't stay here!

This building is not clean. I had 6 cockroaches found in my room. The fridge had clearly not been looked after since it was dirty on the inside. The freezer had baggies of frozen raw chicken in it from a previous guest. The floors were sticky in the room. Photos have been included. The entire building from the lobby, elevator, hallways, and room smelled of cigarettes/weed. It is clear that some guests are more than guests, they are more like residents. It was Derby week and there were no options for me to move too and had already pre-paid. I will never consider this property again after this experience.

Came for Kentucky derby from Alabama. Had 4 people in the room two beds wanted more blankets so no one had to share well got one blanket ok thanks for the one . On Saturday asked for floors to be done never was swept just poured cleaning stuff on floor took a mop and went over it when she left I could still feel the floor was sticky. DO NO STAY AT THIS LOCATION!!!! The check-in staff were pleasant and there were clean sheets on the bed. The entire hotel smelled awful. BO?? Plumbing issues?? Lack of cleaning. The floors throughout the hotel were disgusting! I'm certain the floors hadn't been mopped for months. Besides being filthy there were actually holes in the vinyl flooring in our room. My feet never touched the floor - it was so gross. The refrigerator had rust on the door. There were gnat-like bugs around the kitchen sink. The bedspread was dirty. The tub was clean other than the mildew. The walls were textured and there was "stuff" on them that should be washed down. And worst of all - the door lock latch was broken off. Reputable travel services should not endorse this WoodSpring Suites.
