Room was really small and poorly designed. Bathroom translucent wall with motion detecting lights would be terrible for more than one person staying in the room. Very little storage space. Desk and chair was high up which made them less comfortable to use and to sit on to put on shoes and things. Found a dirty used q-tip on the floor of the bathroom. Front desk was unstaffed for a few minutes when I arrived which made me have to wait to check in. They neglected to tell me that I had a $25/day credit with the restaurant. On the plus side, when I decided to check out a day early they said I could without paying for the last night (although one person at the front desk said I could and another said I couldn't which made it more nerve racking).

Building is beautiful and well kept, staff was all very friendly and helpful, rooftop restaurant is delicious and service was excellent. Room service shuts down a little early but there is a 7-11 across the street for snacks.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in the property. It is renovated, clean, hip. The staff are very friendly. It is a small, boutique like hotel. The hotel gives you a $25 voucher to be used for the coffee bar and a great breakfast offering or the rooftop bar. They also give you a gym pass to LA fitness. Parking is $30 a day next door. The rooms are small but nicely furnished. This is my go to place to stay in LA. Convenient to the freeway.

Super nice place, would stay again. Tip: you get a $25/day food amd beverage credit automatically. This can be used at the bar or cafe that has excellent breakfast and high end pastries. Offsite parking was not a problem. It is right beside the hotel with plenty of spaces.

Pros: friendly staff, pretty roof restaurant/bar, nice lobby that’s comfortable and good to work in with a nice breakfast selection, convenient to transportation and the fine arts area. Cons: no dresser or closet in the room, the lighting is limited to a ceiling lamp and a bare bulb, no hot water in the sink or shower (luke warm was as good as it got), dirt and stains on the window shades, no refrigerator for leftovers, no coffee maker, bottles of water were displayed but cost $3 each and there were no cups for tap water, no gym, a beautiful lounge type room featured on the website is not actually part of the hotel. I was traveling solo and stayed in a single king room at the back of the building that faced into an alley where the trash was picked up 2x per night. It’s not the worst place but it’s not 4 stars either. Given how much it cost (even with a discount) I wouldn’t stay here again. If it was cheaper I probably would.

The decor is beautiful! The rooms are super clean. I’ve stayed here several times, it’s my go to downtown hotel. The staff is always polite and super helpful.

The staff was very friendly and attentive,and available for questions always through texting. The room was smaller than expected,and I found used tissues under one of the pillows. The area was very convenient, lots of restaurants and shops are within walkable distance. There is $25 fee per night, which allows you a $25 credit per room for breakfast which was a nice feature,the only issue is the breakfast is a bit pricey so if more than one person is staying, you'll probably need to pay extra anyhow.

This feels like a trendy older hotel. Their food was good. Staff is helpful. Rooms are horrible! Dorms are TINY! I could touch one end of the room to the bed with out stretch arms. Bathroom was dirty. Hair on the wall of the shower when i arived. Body wash bottles where empty. The beds where so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on the board. 3 of the 4 of us woke up in so much pain. But the staff was helpful. Melissa upgraded us to a queen suite due to all the issues. That was a lot better. Beds where comfortable and room was a decent size. I thought it was strange that there was no amenities. No fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ice bucket. Nothing. The only saving grace was the incredible staff.

This contemporary urban, thoughtfully-designed hotel is a great option! Service is always friendly. It’s a no-frills hotel in the sense that you’re not wallowing in amenities, but there is a nice rooftop and lobby. Definitely recommend, have stayed here four times in the last couple years.

Nice, I would stay here again!
It was a very nice room, small, but it was just me. Nice shower. Not much space on the bathroom sink countertop. No refrigerator, I'm not sure if there never is or just temporary for that room. But the staff kept my cold things in their fridge by the front desk, and I could take things out when I needed to. The room price included coffee and a simple breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient. The lobby area is beautiful and modern. 20-minute walk to the Convention Center (south hall), a very pretty and safe walk.

The property location is great. It’s close to many things and convenient walking distance to attractions such as LA live. However… We did not enjoy our stay whatsoever. The staff is not helpful and the property is not kept. THE PHOTOS ARE NOT ACCURATE!!!! To start off when we arrived, there was zero water pressure and zero hot water. We weren’t even able to rinse our toothbrush well and we ended up having to take a cold shower on the first night. My son wanted some cake so I ordered some chocolate cake from room service knowing it was going to be expensive because that’s typical room service. However we paid $56 for two slices of cake and when we received it, it was prepackaged and frozen. We also had a breakfast credit we weren’t able to use. We were told… “Sorry our cook didn’t come in so we don’t have any food options”. We ask if there were any other breakfast options close by that we could walk to and the gentleman told us… “ I don’t know, I think we’re the only thing.” We ended up having a cold pastry instead. When we left for our day about 30 minutes later, we walked outside and saw an IHOP. One block up the street. So apparently the employee did not know the location very well. we made the front desk aware of the issues and they told us they had been corrected. However, when we returned that evening, still no hot water or water pressure. We were credited some of the food but nothing of the stay. It wasn’t not worth the money we paid at all!!

The room is extremely too small. The bed is so close to the concrete wall so you definitely have to be careful when walking through or you will definitely hurt yourself. The water does not get hot at all. Other then the room the hotel is in a great location, rooftop bar is nice, and the food was great.

Recently stayed at this location in DTLA. Rooms are very small and no fridge or microwave. My room was dirty especially the bed headboard and carpet. Walls of this establishment are paper thin you will hear everything and anything around your room. Overall will not come back or ever recommend this hotel. Mandatory 25$ resort fee each day which you can use as credit for breakfast.
