Quality of hotel is run down we were placed in the second level and smelled like humidity as their was a leak , elevator does not work lots of stairs to go up and down , this hotel needs a good renovation is very old . We are working in hermosa so we are trying different hotels this stay was not bad for the price,

I liked that the room had plenty of pillows for me and my wife. The bath tub was great too. The AC unit was kind of faulty, we weren't sure if it's cooling function is actually working as my wife complained that it was still too warm inside the room. The door to our room was broken too. You needed to "fix" it for it to fully close. Was kind of upset with how parking is not included in the fees, but it could be my fault for not checking if it is included in the fees.

no microwave in room. Breakfast onlly hot item was waffle it you made it. No juice, .Pay for parking never saw that in ad. Room was fine, no microwave to heat leftovers.

I arrived around 3am and the receptionist at the desk seemed to be on drugs. He was laughing and snoring to himself for a good 2 minutes before noticing I was standing in front of him. He seemed like a tweaker or something. Not a very safe environment

Unfortunately this hotel is in need or a refresh. The staff were fabulous and welcoming and the property and bedding were clean. However the decoration in the common spaces and rooms is in desperate need of review, carpets are worn and wall coverings are coming away in places! All said however this is a great spot! I wouldn’t want room prices to rise to pay for well overdue maintenance! These cost should be factored into the existing room rate!!!

We did not have ANY room service for 4 nights. The toilet flush caused a terribly whining loud noise for several minutes after flushing (after 2 nights we complained and maintenance did fix it, pretty much), the condition of the property is quite low end (bathrooms especially with dirty grout and tiles), and it was almost impossible to get service at the front desk-no one in attendance. We chose the hotel for proximity to my son’s hkme and tgat worked out well for us.

This place is absolutely disgusting, DO NOT STAY. Stains on the sheets, mould in the bathroom, suspicious splatter all over the curtains, the room smelled like years of cigarettes masked with cleaning product…absolutely horrific. We checked in, walked to our room and immediately checked out. The reception staff didn’t even question us about leaving, so this obviously happens a lot. This place needs demolishing and building from the ground up. Avoid at all costs.

A decent place for a quick stay. 10min walk to beach. Was able to see the ocean from our deck. Breakfast was bare minimum and the hotel itself is old looking. Room was clean, beds pretty ok. Front desk person very nice and helpful.

This is a practical stay for a short trip. Lovely big outdoor hot tub (no pool), rooms were spacious and beds comfy. Room had a musty smell but not unbearable. You pay for what you get and for the price we got a good stay with a good location…15 min walk to beach and shops right outside hotel steps. Very helpful staff

Pretty convenient access to the beach. Lots of food options close (within walking distance), grocery, 5 below. In-room jacuzzi worked flawlessly. Rooms could use some updating but overall were clean. Would stay at this property again.

Room was great, location was great. Room was a little dirty but not disgusting. The outside was immaculate. The pool is very small, not really for sunbathing, more for a swim workout. You can hear the ocean from the hotel at night.

Very run down, moldy and overpriced
The first room we were in the door wouldn’t lock so they attempted to fix it but eventually had to move us. The next room wreaked like old food and perfume. The AC smelled like mold when you turned it on. There was mold growing in the bathroom. The breakfast was lackluster. The hotel is very run down. Definitely not a 8 point hotel like hotels.com says it is, which I unfortunately relied upon when booking. I would not stay at this hotel again. The only thing it had going for it was the sliver of ocean you can kinda see from the ‘balcony’ if you could call it that.
