We weren't informed about the destination fee perks at check in . We paid for multiple activities that were included in the destination fee that the attendant didn't inform us of at check in . We were very disappointed at check out when we learned of the activities that were included that we paid out of pocket for due to lack of communication.

This is reliable hotel, but because it gets a lot of use it is definitely showing its age. I am guessing that it has not been renovated in the past 10 years. Lots of scuff marks on the doors and furniture. The staff is friendly and helpful. It feels like a tourist or maybe a convention property.

The location cannot be beat. You are literally steps away from everything Hollywood Boulevard has to offer. The pool is fantastic. The rooms are not fancy but spacious. The beds are super comfy. Tech in the room could be updated. Worth the money!

This is the place to stay in Hollywood. Great atmosphere! Walking distance to so many attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved that it was attached to the beautiful Ovation shopping center. There’s not a free breakfast, but they have very good restaurants. And make sure to check out the street vendors on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They’ll have all kinds of fresh fruit and delicious hot dogs with all the trimmings. We will definitely be staying there again.

I would give this property 3.5 stars. It’s a bit run down. The hotel room is definitely showing wear and tear. The lobby is a packed mess and the bathroom in the lobby needs a room key which is annoying. I do understand why they do it but I’m not the best about always having the key with me. Check in had a little bit of a line but went smoothly, only hiccup being no king bed available (I had requested and paid for king). Elevators are a little slow. The room is decent sized and the beds are definitely cozy. Bathroom looks like they last did them in the 80s. Scratches all over the door and the wood on counter. Bathtub is old. They do provide bath products in the shower. Valet this morning was pretty fast and guy was very polite and helpful. The coffee shop ladies were also very nice and helpful. We just went to put our heads down after a Hollywood bowl event. Not sure if I would stay again bc there’s much nicer hotels nearby. Overall a 3.5/5

I purchased through and paid in full with Expedia. The hotel required the entire stay price plus an additional deposit and put a hold on my card. I was told the money would be taken off of the hold within 24 hours of my stay being complete. It was, but within 48 hours of check out, they charged my card again for the entire stay, even though I had paid through Expedia. I called them to have this corrected 2x and was told both times that a manager wasn't available and I would be promptly called back. It has been 3 days without resolution or even a call back to have someone to talk to about what happened. One of the reasons why I chose this hotel was because of it being in the heart of Hollywood but also because my son was very excited to be able to go to the pool. It was not listed anywhere that the pool was closed for maintenance so we didn't actually have access to that during our stay. The second night we were there, the power went out and the fire alarm sounded for about 10 minutes around 9:30 at night. Being as we were on the 18th floor and taking safety seriously as my child was with me, we went into the stairwell to descend and it took 4 calls before we could get through to the front desk to see if it was a false alarm or not. When we got through to them, they assured us it was a false alarm and not to worry. We got settled back in and it sounded again about half an hour later. One morning we bought a parfait downstairs at the café and the yogurt was spoiled.

I was here 6 days total with my 23 year old daughter, we had an amazing stay, the staff very polite and friendly, restaurant are closes by walking distance, near everything, walk of fame Chinese theatre, pretty women movie scene spot at the palmas hotel etc…. very clean and easy access for uber lifts and taxi, i highly recommend i would definitely come back. 😊😊

The staff are awesome. This location is very convenient for many activities. Lyft and Uber find you quickly here and short trips to major attractions are cheap. You can walk to many interesting activities and eateries from the hotel. The only negative during a week long stay were the taxis that wait at the hotel. They run you somewhere without turning the meter on and ask for twice what it should cost in cash. We did report this to the concierge, but chose to use Lyft rather than fight with taxi drivers. The attached Ovation mall is fun to explore and lots of food choices. AAA

The staff in every area of the hotel were friendly and helpful. Good location for walking to shopping & restaurants but it is very touristy area. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever had. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. Hotel is solid, we didn’t hear anyone else other than a little street noise, we were on the 6th floor.

Property in slightly dated condition, suffers from a lot of battered edges and blocked sink. That said, service very friendly, quality of breakfast very good. Repetitive banging sound in walls. Appreciated upgrade to suite.

The pool was a nice treat, shopping next door and Hollywood Stars were right out the front door. Breakfast buffet was nice as it had nice options. The bed was very comfortable. I’d stay here again.

Love how close this place is to shopping and to Hollywood blvd you can walk to mostly anywhere you wanna go or use the electric scooters! 10/10 on everything
