My famuly stayed here to visit universal studios. The hotel is fine for the price, rooms are clean, hotel is a little dated but fine. The area around here is a little rough, but is fine if you arent hanging out here. Never once did I feel unsafe. What really left an impression was we had car trouble. Transmission gave out on my truck. I got my family home, but I stayed back to figure things out. Staff let me extend my stay 3 more days and allowed me transfer my things to a smaller room without having to wait for their 4pm check in time, which was nice. Found a shop to fix my truck and Ill be joining my family at home soon.

The rooms are private and well maintained. The staff is super friendly. Some parking spaces are tandem, so you might have to leave your key/fob at the front desk if you block another vehicle, but they're quick to let you out if you're blocked.
