Travelers be aware that this is not 3 stars hotel
Worse hotel experience in my life, regardless of my status of a Hotels.com GOLD MEMBER. My family of five was accommodated in a so-called "ground level" room (never disclosed in my hotels.com reservation). It was a BASEMENT, with tiny stairs access (see the pictures) with no ventilation, no window and mold smell presence that my asthmatic son started coughing immediately. The bathroom was outside the room, next to the stairs. The front desk could not change us to a livable room, that didn't represent a health risk issue, so we decided to leave and look for another hotel. After asking for a full refund to Adam, the manager, the response was that it was "disclosed" that our room was "ground level" and it was our option to leave (?!) offering me a 50% reimbursement (?!). The health risk in this place due to mold presence should be reviewed by the London Health Department, to which I will place a complaint. To date, I have not received my refund. Very frustrated to arrive to this hostel-like place and had to spend extra money to find another place to stay in the middle of our first time experience in London. Hotels.com never reached out to me either, regardless my multiple attempts to get help.

Thank you for your review. You consumed your stay and then complained about the room while you know it is at Lower ground Level. You booked a room for six people with about 20 luggage’s which is not ideal for a hotel room at a budget. You requested for a partial refund consideration with Expedia and the hotel however; at the same time you raised a charge-back with your card merchant with false claims hence we’re now only dealing with the charge back matter.

Disappointing
Very small room, obviously converted store cupboard , no window, no room for one let one alone 2 people to get changed, had to climb on the bed to hang clothes up..Very claustrophobic, stuffy and hot, humming, vibrating noise throughout the night that sounded like an industrial fridge going off, receptionist on the front was very nice and apologetic but i am afraid there is very little to recommend this hotel

A great stay!
My stay was great. I stayed in the hotel for 5days. The receptionists were all very friendly and showed good interpersonal skills. One of the female receptionist especially always had a genuine smile on her face when talking to me which was heartwarming. On the day of my check out, this same female receptionists was very kind and helpful in helping me move my luggage and suggesting the best way to get to my taxi. As someone whose family has once owned a hotel, based on the qualities of the receptionists, I believe this hotel is a great place to stay especially for those who are new to London as customer care often determines whether a guest will enjoy their stay in a hotel or not. Cleanliness of the room was pleasing. I will definitely book again with this hotel if need be!

Nice basic comfortable accommodation with an interesting bathroom.. bathroom was odd in taht the tap could blast out and soak the toilet roll :) but other than that all good. Shower didn't work mid morning but was allowed extra time to check out because of this.

Perfect Plaza London Hotel!
The location of Plaza hotel is perfect for my visits to east London area.The room was comfortable and clean with a tv and wifi.My bathroom was out of the room but very close and was very clean.The staff are very helpful and friendly and the reception is open 24hrs.I had the use of the kitchen downstairs with kettle and microwave and seating area.Teabags,coffee etc are provided and I would highly recommend Plaza hotel to anyone who likes nice clean hotel rooms at a great price.I will definitely be returning here.Phil.

Plaza London Hotel
Good value for our 6 night stay. Great location, near the tube and interaction with the locals. The room was small compared to American rooms, but it had everything we needed. Service requests were met right away.

this is the worse place I have ever stayed ! I wander in what ground they got those three stars. This place doesn't worth even a half star. I would arrange a good auditing for that place and check the legitimacy of those stars?!

I was expecting at least a hairdryer, other hotels even less price have. coffee and tea maker, have an escalator.... the stairs up to the rooms are comfy only for people super sporty and slim...staff not overly friendly.....

Absolute disgrace of a place
Absolutely rubish. This hotel was selected by your Customer Sevice Advisor because the one I booked was no longer operating and was indefinitely closed when I showed up to checkin. I called your hotline and received the worst service ever. It took over 1h to rebook me into this disgrace of a hotel (dirty, noise till 3am, no window ... ) and I had to walk 30min to get there. Absolutely disgusted with the treatment I got from Hotels. Com and will definitely think.twice before using your services again.
