Good value for the price

Although not centraly located, this hotel is two blocks away from one Picadily line underground station that conects directly to Heatrow airport and to other main underground lines. Simple, modern and clean rooms. Good breakfast. Poor service, no charm at all. If you are looking for a confortable place to sleep and have a shower, this hotel will be a choice.

close to American versions of hotels, not too small!

Novotel located close to Hammersmith tube station 1 block away. shopping, small cafes nearby. Hotel had two restaurants and a bar which looked nice and was frequented by guests. We elected to experience London quisines! Stayed 5 nights and often slept in until 9am..not noisy..was very able to rest! Temperature was self-control so when the weather got warm, (had some 55 degree days in November) we turned the heat down. no problem! Would stay there again!!

Neighbourhood recommendations: We stayed in Hammersmith area because my son's flat was a short 10 minute walk away. It is a quiet area but close to everything including restaurants, small shops and of course, the tube system.

Real good large London hotel

If you have an early flight out of Heathrow, stay here and use the Piccadilly line on the tube (Hammersmith stop). Easy commute 30 minute ride for a few bucks. Hotel was efficient, clean, modern. Breakfast was generous. Really all things good.
