Location of hotel very convenient for our purpose: close to Palladium, bars & restaurants. Room would have been ideal for a couple but not as a twin accommodation: 2 separate beds right next to each other. Would have preferred them to be more separate. USB facilities would have been useful for charging phones, etc. The bathroom was OK but showed its age.

The Montague Place is very well located with great access to transport. I had a room on the third floor and the hotel does not have an elevator. Shout out to Calvin and Kate who helped me with my luggage during check in and check out. The hotel is dated and I had trouble with my air con on my second night, where it began blowing cold air and after Calvin attempted to reset it, he finally gave me a space heater. The amenities in the room are standard, really hot water in the shower. My room faced the mews so was quiet and the blackout curtains were great. The bed is not really comfortable though.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, coffee as well. Every aspect of their service was excellent. There were some maintenance issues with our room that need to be addressed (fan and light in bathroom) but in general everything was fine. Please do note that there is no elevator/lift. Our stay was quiet and pleasant.

fabulous hotel in every respect. Note that there is no elevator. The super-friendly, helpful staff will happily ferry your bags to and from your room.
