"What can I say, from the moment we parked outside the hotel it looked amazing. Receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely and clean, beds super comfy, toiletries and towels of high quality. Tea and coffee facilities well equipped. Evening meal was delicious and well presented, breakfast the following morning was amazing especially the table with the sea view. Wonderful value for money. Would definitely stay again very soon."

"If you want to keep an eye on the Snowdon Mountain Railway or be close to the beginning of the Llanberis path up Mt. Snowdon, this is the place to be. And, if its raining and cold, you'll be content to eat at the Hotel's pub. There's a short walk through the woods to Dolbadarn Castle which is, yes, a castle in Wales, and very picturesque. Breakfast is adequate- an arrival of multiple coaches may have you relocated to a smaller dining room which happened to us, but then we were not on anyone else's schedule so all was satisfactory. The hotel is convenient to local bus service and an easy walk into town for more stores, outfitters and restaurants. Staying in this Hotel gives you a connection to Snowdon's past as it has been present in some form for nearly 200 years on the site. Stay there, eat a healthy breakfast and begin your ascent. What's wrong with that?"

"Lovely hotel in excellent position. Staff were great and very useful having its own parking. Our only disappointment was the food . Was ok but expected higher standard for both evening meal and breakfast. Was not expecting it to be a self service breakfast which we really don’t like Overall though we had a very enjoyable stay"

"The condition of the room was substandard put decoration toilet fittings Lowes toilet C Lowes mostly basically all worn out needs updating not worth £150 a night parking facilities. A nightmare spent two hours on the morning of arrival looking for parking will not go again."

"My son recently stayed at this gorgeous hotel. The staff were incredible & deserve more than a 5* rating so very kind to him throughout the 2 nights. Room.was lovely & exceptionally clean Food was 1st class. What an amazing fund - thank you 💝"
