I have looked at your reservation and seen that you were allocated R26. The water issue you encountered was due to age of the building. We do have continues hot water but that room does take a few seconds to warm up, but I can assure you the room does have hot water. Also the day you chose to stay was vastly busier than normal due to it being bank holiday. Again, we will take this feedback and continue to work towards improving our guests stay in the future. Good Afternoon, ShelbieSorry to hear your stay wasn't everything you expected. We take all feedback on board and act where we can. We unfortunately do not have a spa onsite anymore. It closed in June 2023. It was a separate company, we may get a new spa in the future but for now we do not advertise as a spa hotel. The room you were requested and allocated was the Bridal Suite which had just been redecorated and the flowers had been removed as they didn't fit the new décor. The bridal suite comes equipped with two bronze baths. This makes it different to the other rooms on offer. We could not have allowed you to use other rooms for the request of spa bath as you were not allocated any of those rooms. I can confirm that the bridal does come equipped with a queen sized bed. I do apologise for the cold water, due to the age of the building the hot water may take a few minutes to heat up. Again, I do apologise if this was not communicated to you. In regards to the mess in the car park. We are surrounded by woodlands, unfortunately its unavoidable where nature decides to land. We also have our fire alarm checked regularly, so I can assure you the alarms are not faulty. I do hope you give Rainhill Hall another chance in the future and you can see the improvements we are continuing to make. Many thanks,

Good evening Clive,We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy either of your stays with us.In regards to the shower curtains, we don't have these as they aren't the most hygienic and the lack of warmth in the bathroom is just a result of the time of year unfortunately. We do have portable heaters that upon request we are more than happy to offer to guests. As we are in a woodland area, insects do sometimes find their way into the building unfortunately. We will always move guests to a different bedroom in this circumstance providing we have available rooms.We do regularly host functions in our hotel, and we are sorry to hear that this disturbed you. Again, we are always willing to provide guests with an alternative bedroom in this case that is maybe further from the function room if we have them available. We do not have telephones in any of our bedrooms, and we do not advertise that we do. Our telephone number can be located on our welcome letter that all guests receive when checking in, along with on our website and confirmation emails that are sent after making a reservation.We apologise greatly for the issues at breakfast. Sometimes guests come down slightly earlier than the arranged breakfast times, and of course if the staff have set up and are ready to serve they will do so rather than turning people away. I understand that there should've been more available tables, and I will be passing this onto the breakfast staff. The staff that appeared to be "uninterested" will be informed of your experience with them during your stay and this will be addressed. We apologise profusely that your stay wasn't everything you hoped for, and all issues you encountered will be passed on to the relevant management teams so that action can be taken.
