"We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!"

There was a few problems, which we highlighted in a letter we left at the property. 1} the dining table was unsafe as the legs were unstable. 2} The bedroom doors did not shut fully. 3} Although we found a short cut to the beach the information says the bungalow is next to the beach.4} The fan extractor although the light came on the fan did not work. Despite the few problems we found we enjoyed our stay in the bungalow and will stay in the bungalow...

"This cosy cottage is close to the beach. It is easy to access and in a lovely setting. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Would return in a flash. "

"Lovely small property for 2 people. An oasis in the midst of the Lincolnshire countryside which, it has to be said, is quite featureless. (To be fair, we went late October. On a summer's day it would be much nicer.) Could well revisit to see more of the area. Plenty of places of interest within a half-hour's drive."

"A lovely house which was perfect for our short family break. The house is completed to a high spec and the garden is very well maintained. The bar area is a bonus and a really nice area for socialising. Location was good to go to beaches and other local areas. Most things are within a 10-15 minute drive. Kids and grandparents really enjoyed the stay."

"Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. Locks to back door broken- no keys to the other back and side door. Mouse trap and fresh droppings under the sink. No PAT testing of...

"This is a lovely property. Nice and clean, well equipped and in beautiful grounds with lakes and wildlife. We enjoyed feeding the geese - and were allowed to see some baby chicks that had just hatched. Barbara was on hand to help with anything we needed, and had provided a leaflet with local things to do and takeaways that delivered to site. Excellent stay, we will no doubt be booking again."

"The accommodation is light, airy, modern and just right for a sea-side stay. Everything is really clean - it's immaculate. There's everything you could need whether for cooking, games, watching TV (in both bedrooms as well as lounge area), plenty of storage space, lovely bathroom (with a large shower that you can move about in!), comfy beds.
