The hotel itself was nice, but there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. Note that. We could not open our window because we were directly above a bar. So, the noise and cigarette smoke jist flew into our window if we opened the window.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The only down side of this hotel was no AC in room. It made for an unpleasant night of sleep in overall warm room even with the windows open.
We’d not stay here in future travels ever brought us back to Limerick.
Everything was grand. However Monday morning was noisy at 7am, with the sounds of doors opening and closing several times...housekeeping??? Beautiful place, amazing check in and check out service. Vincenzo Restaurant and staff are top notch.
Great room, very clean and great amenities. Room service available and the bed was really comfy. Stored my bags the next morning when I needed to wait for my train. Really good overall, only issue was the room was really hot and I couldn’t open the windows to cool it down (maybe I just couldnt figure it out) so it made for a warm night.
Exploring the charming city of Limerick revealed its unique allure. The hotel itself is stunning, boasting a delightful restaurant with excellent cuisine. The beautiful terrace provided a serene space for relaxation. While Limerick may not be deemed the safest city among our stops, the accommodations and nearby pubs near the hotel ensured an enjoyable stay.
We stayed at 3 different 4 star hotels during our trip and this one was certainly the nicest. The waters, chocolate, and the nespresso in the room were a nice touch. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable. We also loved the toiletries scent.
We enjoyed our 7 night stay. We were allowed to check in a little early after a long day of travel. Everyone was very pleasant. We opted for the breakfast every day. The food was always fresh and hot. The beds were very comfortable. The temperature of the room was easy to adjust. The only complaint I had was the shower water never got as hot as I like. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. We would definitely return.
Our stay at The George in Limerick was wonderful. The staff were extremely kind, the rooms were more than adequate for us traveling between cities on a tight schedule. The restaurant in the hotel offered an extremely convenient experience while also being top notch. Location is close to the bus pick ups for the Cliffs of Moher tours in the area. A great option for shopping and such as well. Overall a fantastic experience for us.
The George hotel is centrally located in Downton Limerick. The room was clean and comfortable and offered all basic amenities. There are many dining options in the immediate area of the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was decent as well.

We called for a fresh pot of coffee in the morning as room service was advertised but was told we needed to use the machine in our room. The coffee from the machine did not taste well. I would have paid for the coffee but they refused to bring it anyway.
I was there for a business trip and there was 4-5 people in the room next door 5002 who were partying and singing all night from 02:00-08:00 I did not get a good nights sleep.
