Nice stay
Had to request more tea and coffee. Rooms a little noisy from other guests. Front door key was tricky. Nice view from bedroom window. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Great place to stay
What a beautiful hotel in a lovely small town, stayed only 1 night but we will be back. Comfortable bed, great shower and A/C on a very hot July day

Querido Daniel sentimos que hubiera una hola de calor tan grande, hicimos todo lo posible porque tuviera una feliz estancia , poniendo 2 ventiladores, pero la ola de calor ha sido tremenda en España. esperemos que en otra ocasión el tiempo no sea tan loco

Great overnight stop,real Spain rustic yet modern
Friendly owners very kindly served us a super set menu late lunch as they were unable to open in the evening due to Covid measures. Quality re-fitted en-suite bathrooms and adequate sized nice bedrooms. Safe on street parking and dog friendly. Lerma an interesting historic town close to the auto route too. A great overnight stop for us.

Good but with a few reservations
Lerma is a lovely small historical town. Hotel is just a few mins walk into town where a few shops are based. We had a dog with us (Extra €10 per nt) and within around 50 yds was a delightful country walk but be careful if you leave your dog loose - may come back covered in sticky burrs as I found to my cost! We booked as an overnight stop towards Santander but ferry was cancelled and we were able to stop over for another 2 nights and explore more of the town. Very nice room but although November, the central heating wasn't on but there was an air con unit on the wall directly at the side of the bed which, as it was blowing directly onto me, wasn't very comfortable and it was rather noisy. Curtains are too long (drooping over floor) and I tripped over them while carrying a glass of wine! Apologies to the hotel but really those curtains were an accident waiting to happen. Would we stay there again? - Yes, I think so as long as the prices are reasonable. I think we were paying (around €70 per night) for the location rather than the hotel which is only 2*. There was a very nice looking restaurant attached to the hotel but sadly, due to Covid, it (and every other restaurant, cafe and bar) was closed as Lerma and surrounding area was in strict lockdown. Proprietor has some English as did the cleaning lady so communication with the aid of our limited Spanish helped us through. The car was parked right outside and the area seemed safe. Overall Recommended.

A pleasure to overnight stop in Lerma
This is a super location for an over night stop. Re-furbished and upgraded rooms and en-suites are very good. Real Historic Spain and not too far off the autoroute, reasonably priced with a warm welcome.

Situated in a lovely town and the hotel was central and decorated to a very nice standard. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the evening, but there were plenty of other options nearby. Rooms were tight, particularly when travelling with a large dog.

Charming and welcoming!
What a lovely find just off the main square at Lerma. Our room was beautifully decorated- so pretty and very warm and cosy for the cold weather of November. Such good value -we'll certainly stay again! Al very welcoming. We ate in the attached restaurant and the food was delicious and well cooked - good rustic Spanish cuisine. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'd highly recommend it!

Lerma's Hidden Hideaway
Walls and ceilings are.thin so sounds echo. Very creative and comfortable decor. Our room waa small, but welll appoimted. The location is perfect. Definitely recommend this place.

How can this hotel only have 2*'s?
Weather was terrible but the hotel was a pleasant surprise. For a supposedly 2* hotel it was beyond our expectations. The room was extremely well decorated and there was nothing to fault. The shower was great, the bed comfortable, and the surroundings quiet. No problems with parking and the owners were very friendly. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the menu/food very good. Would stay again and hopefuuly not encounter snow again in October!

A bit different.
Posados are apparently the equivalent of inns in England. the Posada de Eufrasio in Lerma is nicely close to the A1 Burgos to Madrid motorway. It is a well-priced way of experiencing real Spain than the Palatial Parador nearby. Do not be put off by an unimpressive external appearance. Also the rooms are accessed through an external door where the key must be turned for every entry. Inside the restaurant and socialising areas you experience something interestingly different from the average hotel due to the layouts and décor. The hotel calls itself a "Boutique Hotel". The food was very nice and well-served.

Beautiful views, comfortable room in quiet place
The views from our room at the back were stunning - we were high up a cliff with a vista over vast fields of grain. The room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. There was also a communal lounge downstairs with plenty of space and good views. Unfortunately we could get no Wi-fi in our room and even downstairs it was weak. We had breakfasts both morning which were reasonable price and nice - fruit, creamy yogurt, mini cakes, toast with choice of toppings, boiled egg, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee. You could eat evening meals too, but it was rather expensive (because Michelin rated) and the room a bit dark, so we preferred to eat outside in the pretty small town of Lerma. Market in main square on Wednesday morning was interesting! And Burgos is an easy 30 minutes drive away. And well worth a visit is Artlanza replica old town only 15 minutes away.

Muchas gracias Phil, el restaurante si está en Michelín pero tienes precios de todo tipo depende lo que comas,el comedor no es oscuro, cuando lo viste estaban las luces apagadas, es un comedor precioso donde poder disfrutar de una cena típica castellana y el wifi funciona correctamente si en ese momento fue así sólo tenías que haberlo dicho y hubiéramos visto que ocurría, nos alegramos que disfrutaras de nuestro pueblo y nuestro hotel, hasta pronto

Very nice hotel. Perfect location close to E5 approx 30 minutes south of Burgos. Parking in the street which was quite ok in this fairly small town.

Nuestra estancia en Lerma peffecta, para repetir
Todo muy bien.La habitación cómoda, no demasiado grande, pero con muchos detalles. El sitio tranquilo a la vez que céntrico, al lado de la plaza a la que se llega andando en dos minutos. Facilidad de aparcamiento.
