It The hotel is being demolished soon and you can tell the vibe there is 'we're gonna be gone soon anyway so we don't really care.' The bellhop guy was real nice, but everyone else was just indifferent. The room we stayed in had a lopsided bed (I slept diagonal in it). The toilet was already clogged when we checked in. 2 elevators were out of service. There were some transient folks in and out, which yes I get, it's Vegas. I also come from a town with a lot of transient folks. It's not a huge deal, but it's just in a transitional period. A baseball stadium is supposedly going in that spot. I'd say save your money. Go elsewhere. I'm sure the place was hopping way back in the day.
