“A Fantastic Hotel.”

An excellent top class hotel with absolutely nothing to complain about. Efficient staff, excellent service, good food and good entertainment. What more could you ask for? Our only wish was that it wasn't so windy but then that's Lanzarote for you!! Can be thoroughly recommended!!

“Will definitely go back”

This was our first visit to Lanzarote and my husband and I were a bit worried about the hotel after reading some of the reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was better than a lot of other 4 star hotels we have stayed in over the years. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day and extra pillows and towels were provided quickly without question. The pool and bar areas areas of the hotel are all very nice (revolving bar!) and evening entertainment was the usual magician, parrot show, singer, etc. There were lots of restaurants and bars close by to choose from and the beach and a lovely walkway is accessed via the back gate of the hotel. We had a great time and will definitely be going back.

“Returning retired couple”

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last twelve years, which says a lot. Whilst the fittings have steadily become in need of attention, for instance the carpets, the staff consistently give an efficient and cheerful service.

“Good relaxing holiday”

We had a really fantastic holiday but the hotel had seen better days. The carpets were very shabby but the main public areas were well kept. The staff were really pleasant and the breakfasts were excellent. The rooms are bright and airey and the balcony was really lovely On the whole the hotel provided good value for money. We stayed in at a Mitsis Hotel in Rhodes in October and the lifts did not work and the rooms compared to the Costa Teguise Playa werevery poor.

“Very good for families”

Stayed at Teguise Playa Occidental in July 2010. Overall, very pleased. The location is very convenient for the beach and town shopping. Believe most (if not all) rooms have a view of the sea. Rooms were cleaned and towels were changed every day. We had buffet breakfast included and were pleased with the different options available: everything from traditional English to pancakes, sandwhiches, toasties, fruit, pastries, cereals. We stayed with our 4-year old and were pleased with the free activities for children such as mini golf, childrens club (which unfortunately our hyperactive 4-year old did not particularly enjoy but would have been perfect as a free babysitting option otherwise!) There were also more games for older children such as chess, snooker, etc. The pool area was good, with a separate paddling pool for younger children. Although we thought the water was a bit too cool even in the heated pool. Fortunately, the hot weather made up for it. There is a direct access to one of the less busy beaches from the rear gates of the hotel, which was very convenient. Staff at the reception spoke very good English. Majority of the staff were very helpful and offered good service, helping with booking of excursions, restaurant reservations and taxi. The only downside was that the room did not have facilities for making teas/coffes and no microwave, but guess quite a few people were going all inclusive. Overall would definitely recommend, and really enjoyed.

“Great choice, again.”

We went to this hotel 9 years ago and had no hesitation going back. It was lovely, just as we remembered. We stayed bed-and-breakfast so cannot comment on evening meals. Breakfast is superb, a huge choice, comething for everyone.
