Firstly, upon arrival, I encountered an unexpected delay in the check-in process and was only given a room at 3pm. After a long and tiring journey, the last thing one desires is a prolonged wait at the reception desk. Unfortunately, this inconvenience set a negative tone for the rest of my stay.
However, what truly exacerbated my dissatisfaction was the persistent disturbance caused by the loud noises emanating from the hotel gym. It seemed that the sound insulation was inadequate, as the constant clanging of weights and people running on the treadmill permeated through the walls, making it incredibly difficult to find peace and rest within my room. I had hoped for a relaxing and peaceful environment during my stay, but this unfortunate issue proved to be a significant hindrance.
One plus point was that the hotel staff agreed to give us a late check out at 1pm.
As a loyal customer of Marriott group, I had expected a more pleasant and satisfactory experience. Unfortunately, this stay has left me questioning whether I would consider choosing Aloft for my future accommodations.
