The bathroom was small but efficient and clean. The management were very responsive to our questions. The only thing that was a bit below standard was the common areas, staircase and hallways were a bit grotty and don't look like they have been cleaned in a while. Overall a pretty good experience."

"Location is great, walkable to all Edinburgh attractions. The place was relatively easy to find, instructions how to get in were sent via email and were clear. The apartment itself is modern and clean, furniture comfortable, large bed, nice clean sheets and towels, large and modern bathroom with great shower. Kitchen was also large and had a sensible kit for cooking. I personally didn’t care for the pillows - too high and stiff for me, but it’s just my preference. There are too many confusing...

"The reason I didn't rate it as a 5 was that we were told there was a lift there. When we got there we had to climb 2 flights of stairs before the lift started. At 70 years old, we purposely picked a place with a lift. This was very deceiving and caused a lot of trouble."

"After a long day of traveling it was very nice to be able to get in so easily. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is to have a hair dryer available, unless I just couldn’t find it. "

"Needed more stop bys for house keeping, trash builds up quickly. Whoever designed the tub/shower arrangement was incompetent. I am average height and the shower head height was at the middle of my chest. A little more information about how to use equipment (ie the combo washer/dryer for us from North America) would also be handy. Check in was problematic, receptionist called in sick and nobody answered the supposed 24/7 emergency number. But to give the property credit, great location for...

"Stayed here a couple of times and as usual it was great, the standards have never dropped over the years something some so called bespoke hotels could learn from. It was clean with some nice touches 5 minute walk from train station into the heart of Glasgow. Check in was simple and easy, plenty of off street parking. Would highly recommend."

"This property was wonderful. Directly on the Royal Mile. Large living area, well maintained, comfortable beds and amenities. Was a little difficult to locate. The gate to the property is in Bishops Close. The closest parking garage was about a 10 minute walk, so drop off luggage first! We used St. James Quarter garage. This was close to all sightseeing. Would definitely recommend!"

"Nice modern decor, great location. I didn't like that the washer/dryer gave me problems and I could not get the dryer to work. This was disappointing, luckily I only washed a few light items. Better instruction for use of the dryer might be helpful."
