The location is good. This hotel is quite run down, unlike it's depicted in pictures. Lady at the front window is ok, but her husband is rude. They charged us fees for the dog, but they turned out to be more than expected, even with paying tax on top of them. When we asked her to give us a receipt, she wouldn't do it. Shady business. Will not stay there again.

The bathroom was a wonderful bright blue and white, and it might have been the first time I ever took a photo of a bathroom in an Inn!

Disappointing Stay over!
Very Disappointing the room was very small and cramped and smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. The price was over priced for what you get. Also the internet was non existent in this room!

This place should be rated one star. 2 stars is far fetched. The images online made it seem like a decent place to rest but it was quite uncomfortable. All the doors are marked non-smoking but the room stank of smoke and mildew. Window screens are torn up. The door doesn't properly seal so if the bugs through the bathroom wasn't bad enough, the front door had a wider gap. The most horrifying thing about it all, is upon checking the remainder of the room to make certain nothing was left behind. Was seeing the atrocious mess underneath the beds. THAT is where the smells are coming from including trash and glass shards. I truly believe no one has changed the mattress sheet in months and that must be how it is possible for no one to bother vacuuming the room. Lesson learned, never book online before seeing the "cute decent inn" IN PERSON.

The room was not cleaned properly! The bathroom smelled like a**. The pillow casings had stains. The carpet was full of stains. The shower had a good amount of nasty mold. I do not recommend this place especially not for $155 a night!

Spend the extra money and get what you pay for
Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Rooms were run down and need some major upgrading. Paint chipping, discolored (Dirty) outlet plates, banged up furniture, stained shower with extremely short shower head, etc. I sanitized everything just in case, and we wore our sandals to shower etc. No funky smells so that was a plus, and the bed was comfortable and sheets fresh... I wouldn’t stay there again just because of the condition of the room, but considering we only used it as a place to sleep and not hang out it did the job, although room attached to a stairwell and vibrated a lot when someone was using it. Basically, spend the extra money and get a better overall experience.

First time I’ve ever been disappointed for my stay in Tahoe. The hotel was in a great location but very ran down and un maintained. For over $200 a night, they need to do a lot better! The room was average size but not taken care of at all! I wanted to paint the walls myself. Carpets were disgusting, no screen on the bathroom window in my room at least. It could be a decent place to stay with a little bit of work. I was very surprised at the lack of maintenance on the room. This is Lake Tahoe people, come on! Put a little bit of money and effort into your hotel to make your customers comfortable. It was an uneasy feeling to sleep in the room for multiple reasons. I slept fully clothed and on top of the covers. I will not be booking at this hotel again unless the rooms have been upgraded.

The staff are kind, but no coffee maker in the room and the amenities were somewhat lacking. The price was low though.... We had to listen to a loud individuals phone convo next to our room for about 30 minutes and it was obvious the person was dealing with drug sales. Other than that the place is situated in a good location.

Along with being the oldest mattress that left us both sore each morning, it also didn't have a fitted sheet! So throughout the night, the top sheet that was "covering" the mattress kept sliding down which felt kind of gross. There was cobwebs in the bathroom and the TV was very staticy on each channel as well.

Don’t waste your money here.
Don’t waste your money here. We booked for 2 night but left after the first night. Lost $150 for the night but couldn’t stay. Room was dingy and smelled moldy. I recommend paying a little more to stay at a better place.

This hotel was clean, conveniently located near restaurants and shopping! The staff was friendly and accommodating, easy to stay at with a baby under 1! Definitely would stay at again.

What you expect from an Economy Hotel
This place is okay. It's not a place I would likely stay at again but it 100% meets the needs of a warm place to stay. It's got a pretty good location and the staff was friendly and accommodating. More than anything, it needs some serious renovations. It has potential and it wouldn't take a lot of money to make it more attractive. However, the beds were just okay, the showers hot, the room was was clean-ish. The biggest complaint, lots of stains on bedding. - However, again, this is an economy hotel and it served us well for the night

Extreme price gouging
I understand there is a premium for high travel periods such as Holidays, but this was extreme price gouging. $500 for a basic room. One I would expect to pay less than $100 for.

This hotel is good if you just want somewhere to spend the night for a cheaper price, The hotel is so outdated, carpet was old. Room size was good but the washroom was small and has the smallest toilet bowl among all the hotels we stayed in. The bed was springy but it was ok. What bothered us the most is the strong smell of body odor in the reception area and the rooms. We only stayed for a night. Location wise, it is close to the center of south lake tahoe.

The room was a dump couldn't sleep there had to go home not the owners fault. Not use to this kind of space. Holiday Inn is much nicer
