“A wonderful place to stay”

This hotel was brilliant. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. Situated in a quiet town with lovely views. Use of a car is required if you intend to use as a base. We did not have a car but used taxis which cost about 20 euros to the nearest town of Pescheira Del Garde where you can catch trains to destinations like Milan , Verona, Venice. Buses run but only during school term time which is September to March. The restaurant at the hotel is good value for money too and staff speak english french and italian. We would defintely stay again. There appears to be a lot of development still ongoing in Pozzolengo but this does not affect the surrounding area and its beauty.

“Great hotel”

Located in the tiny town of Pozzolengo this hotel provides the ideal base for exploring the local area and Lago gi Garda. A car is essential and parking is provided at the hotel. Proved an ideal hotel for me and my young family.

“A very enjoyable stay”

Very little to fault with this hotel and location. Lovely town, friendly people. Great views. Only 10 minutes drive from Lake Garda. Room was clean, airy and comfortable. Bathroom was ok - one or two items needed repair and the glass shower door did not run freely so we opted to shower with the door open just to be on the safe side. Otherwise, a really nice place to stay with friendly staff and a complimentary breakfast. We would stay again.

“Good value for couples with car”

This hotel was further from the lake than expected (about 8km) and is in a rural village setting. More suited to couples than families. The room was well appointed with modern en-suite and Sky TV. Air-conditioned which was a real boon (39°C outside) at no extra cost. No sign of previously reported cleanliness issues - in fact the room was spotless. The hotel itself is classic rural Italian so don't expect too much stainless steel and bright colours. You really need a car as the bus service to the Lake only runs very early morning and late afternoon. Parking free and plentiful in hotel. Restaurant in the hotel not tried as dishes were rural Italian (lots of tripe and offal) but great character bar over the road with snack bar next door. Very friendly vllagers and hotel staff had reasonably good English. Breakfast was fine. Overall: great value for money and would go back again.
