great location and hosts
Clean, comfy, quiet. The only minor annoyance was the weakness of the internet connection, though that could be seen as a bonus for a holiday.

Thanks for taking the time to place a review. Pleased you enjoyed your visit to this part of NZ. I’m sorry about the internet but unfortunately with the surrounding trees we cannot get it any stronger. We have installed a booster which has helped a bit. Safe travels home

Delightfully cosy and comfy
Lake Ferry is one of our favourite places. The bach was warm with plenty of heating, lovely electric blanket, and luxurious bedding and towels. Great BBQ deck area, and well equipped kitchen. Excellent location next to the park. Lea gave us some good tips on local food options. We look forward to returning. Thank you.

Great place for a break!
Great little unit, spotless and well kitted out. Hosts were amazing and very welcoming. Andy was great with local fishing tips and knowledge. I am looking forward to returning.

Peaceful and Relaxing
Loburn Motel was the ideal place to stay where we could explore the local area, enjoy a meal at Lake Ferry Hotel and just relax and unwind. The motel was immaculate with a full kitchen and everything anyone should need to ensure a great holiday stay. The owners were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Loburn Motel.

Great Stay
Hosts were easy to talk to and understanding when approached. We had bach two which has a good size deck so didn't feel crammed with the four of us. Highly recommended.

Great stay in lake ferry
A cosy stay that had all we needed, full kitchen, outdoor area that we managed to get some sun in even in July! Close to the pinnacles walk and the cape palliser light house. Hosts were responsive and easy to deal with. Would recommend for a calm weekend getaway from the city !

Absolutely exceeded expectations!
We really loved the bach - very clean tidy and easy to be in! Lea was lovely to meet and chat with, and very helpful when we were booking. Even better, cuz we could bring our (small) dogs and there was a little area onsite for them to do their business and a big reserve next door, as well as the lakeshore and ocean beaches. We will be back!

Home away from home
Highly recommend, the place was very clean and cosy. Lea was very kind and made us feel at home. Photos need to be updated as the place is much more nicer in real life. You won't be disappointed.

Everything we needed
Sparkling clean, the bach had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Fantastic location, not too far from Wellington and a short drive to explore Palliser Bay. It was great to be able to bring our dog. Hosts were a delight. We would definitely stay again.

Quite, clean, good facilities, large deck, fish cleaning area. Close to Lake Ferry Hotel and resturant. Gret stop over to explore Palliser Bay and only a short distance from Martinborough and Greytown. Value for money.

WLG Anniversary Weekend Jan 2022
Loburn Bach as 2 bachs and we stayed in #2. It was clean and with good appliances/utensils for a lovely 2 night stay. With a great covered deck for a relaxing breakfast. The owners Andy and Lea are fantastic and friendly.
