"We had a lovely stay in the house, everything we needed for our stay, we were shown around the town as well, its just a shame we didn't have longer, only very small negative point was that we all got covered in mossie bites the first night, in bed (we never sat out) (I had asked the owner and he said there was not many about) but they clearly loved our Scottish skin, it was fine once we applied bug spray. "I'd strongly suggest a "Superior" room, as those are the only ones with air conditioning, and you'll probably want that. It's clean and safe, and the staff speak "hotel English", i.e., most standard questions they can handle. We wanted information on bus tickets to Ceterveri, and this had to be managed in Italian, which I'd expected, but none of them had ever used that bus and had no idea where exactly to get tickets. "this is a cool old hotel... we had a balcony looking out over the black sand beach and could hear the surf all night... it was gorgeous and an easy walk from the train station... also an easy walk to innumerable restaurants and pizza places... "

"The hotel is situated fairly close to the beach, and the rooms are spacious and air conditioned. The breakfast was slightly disappointing and did alter from day to day, but they class it as a free breakfast so we shouldn't complain too much. The manager and owner was a lovey man who was very friendly and helpful. He even allowed us do check out late without any additional charge, so we thought that was a really nice thing to do.
