We loved this quiet location--surprisingly quiet considering it's convenient rural location between two major roadways. The garden grounds are lovely. The building is beautiful and the rooms nicely set up. Note: our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator, but staff were happy to help with luggage.

Property is beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway with your significant other. The restaurant was absolutely great, friendly stuff. Lunch starts at 1:30 dinner at 8:30, and reservations must be made. At other times kitchen is closed and not much going on around the property, it’s not a big hotel, which we really enjoyed it. Recommend for couples!

Overall is a good hotel to stay however sometimes the lack of staff made it not that good. We saw that the staff was doing their best but they need more staff.

Perfect!
Amazing place! We had a wonderful two-night stay. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Lots of storage space, large bathroom and a nice balcony. Good breakfast, coffee could have been better. We loved the restaurant and the garden. Also the pool area was perfect.

A fab hotel with amazing service, excellent food & wine. The modern Spanish design and furnishings are beautiful as are the grounds. The even have a EV (Tesla) charging! The only shortcoming was the WiFi speed. Terribly unstable and v e r y s l o w! <<1 mbps with incredibly long “ping.”Nearby to many fab wineries

Definition of a Hidden Gem!
We loved our stay and hope to be back. I was in Tarragona for a business conference and my husband was able to join me to enjoy the area. This small, boutique hotel is situated on a working olive grove with a working olive oil press and artisan bottling operation. The olive oil produced on site can be sampled at tastings held once a day, and at the lovely restaurant. We filled our suitcases with cans of their luscious olive oil to take home and give as gifts! The grounds are just beautiful, consisting of landscaped walkways and garden nooks between the stone buildings that make up the hotel. The rooms are elegantly decorated with high end fixtures in the bath. Our room had a spacious private patio that made us feel like royalty staying there. As we approached the property - directly off the highway -- we were a little concerned, since the neighborhood veers towards industrial. But don't be concerned - once you round the curve into the property itself, and drive between the olive groves behind the charming stone fences, high trees block everything else out, and we never heard a whisper of highway noise, even when we tried to. All we could hear was bird song and breezes in the trees. It was a lovely stay, and we hope to be back.

Best boutique hotel
Hotel is beautiful, peaceful and has great food. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Olive oil tasting was informational and a bonus to an already great stay. We would definitely recommend, but you must have a car. Hotel is set in vineyard and if you want to go to Terragona it is about 15 minute drive.

Beautiful property and large, clean, well-designed room! Wonderful place overall. Two complaints: 1. WIFI was fairly poor in our room. Maybe it's the location of our room relative to their WIFI hubs... 2. the path from the parking lot to the hotel is a nicely-raked gravel path for a distance which is very hard to wheel a suitcase along.

First thing the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were absolutely superb, the best of my recent trip around Spain. The styling of the rooms and the price for visual quality is good. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room so poorly sound insulated distant noises were as loud as if there were no windows at all. I managed maybe 2 hours sleep while I was there. Such a shame, because otherwise it was a very nice place.

Ideal Place to Relax
Mad la Boella has beautiful grounds, clean and spacious rooms, and was the perfect place to escape. The restaurant and servers were fantastic as was the complimentary olive oil tour. Within 10 min drive to Tarragona and Aquaducts.

What a find!
Found this hotel by chance as we were looking for a room for 1 night in the Tarragona area and what a find! Food was exquisite, high class menu but at affordable prices. Dinner was cooked to perfection - and breakfast was delicious too.

This is one of the best hotels I've been to - and I've been to some pretty fancy ones! After having an awful day dealing with a car break- in in Barcelona (all camping gear stolen), we came here tired, hungry, and upset. The staff (and food) completely turned our trip around. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are wonderful, and the grounds are picturesque. Love it so much, we're staying here an extra day. Wish I could give it six stars.

An Oasis of Tranquillity in Tarragona
We booked a one night stay at Mas La Boella because it was not far from the highway, and we needed to make an early start the next day. The hotel was an absolute delight, set on a country estate with olive groves, vineyards, and gardens. The room was state-of-the-art for hotel/spa design and dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. It happened to be our 35th wedding anniversary and Mas La Boella was the perfect place to celebrate the occasion. We can't wait to return.

Ein absolut edles Hotel
Dieses Jahr bereits zum 2. Mal besucht, leider nur 1 Nacht. Die Suite Nr. 9 war gross mit sehr bequemen Betten, Bad mit Dusche und sep. WC. Insgesamt hat es an nichts gefehlt, Top-Ausstattung, sogar 2 TV. Das Essen hervorragend, am Abend aber leider etwas spät, erst um 20:30 h. Wir hätten es begrüsst, wenn es um 19:30 h Abendessen gäbe. Dafür gibt es Mittagessen von 13:30 h bis 15:30 h. Super! Die Lage des Hotels in einen riesigen Park ist ein echter Traum, ruhig, idyllisch und mega! Wir werden dieses Hotel bestimmt wieder buchen, dann aber um etwas länger zu bleiben, denn sich die Umgebung bietet sehr viel.
