Mume comes from Prunus mume which is the scientific name of Ume - Japanese apricoit. Mume has just bloomed as a small and enchanting boutique hotel standing along peaceful Shirakawa River in Gion Kyoto. All of our seven rooms are decorated with beautiful pieces of antique furniture which our owner has purchased all over the world.
