From the moment we arrived it was wonderful. Straight into relaxation mode. We had to wait for our room which was great because we got to experience the days beds over looking the ocean while we sipped on refreshing beverages made by the staff. Then ,when we did get escorted to our villa,it was so much better than expected. The pictures on the web site do the resort no justice. It was beautiful. The food was amazing. I could go on and on, but I would like to thank Ricki and his staff for doing such a amazing job. We would especially like to thank Rudi who was superb and really made your feel welcome.I would not hesitate to recommend "The Royal Santrian".Truly wonderful!!

Amazing cliff location offers views galore of the ocean from every room. Architecture is stunning, and you won't be disappointed by the award winning swimming pool with infinity views.
Staff is beyond incredible, they are by far the best part of the experience.
Facilities are extremely well maintained.
Spa is wonderful - try the "4 hands" massage
Take the cliff staircase to the beach early in the morning to leave you in shape for a guilt free sumptuous breakfast to start the day.
I decided to split my 10 day holiday in Bali between 5 days in Seminyak and 5 days in Jimbaran. Lumbini Villas is a great choice if you're after somewhere modern, clean and away from the centre of it all, but close enough to walk to local restaurants and to use the beaches in the local resorts (e.g Intercontinental hotel just 500m away). If you want to be in the middle of tourist town, then stay in Seminyak, whereas the villa is located amongst local shops and stores. The room service menu is well priced and a reasonable selection, but I decided to eat out a few nights at the local seafood restaurants on the beachfront (about 20 min walk) as well as at Balique (about 300m south down the road). The rooms are exactly as the photos on the website and the mosquito netted bed along with electric mosquito repellent and closed bedrooms were great, no problems at all with mosquitoes. That said, you;ll need repellant and coils for the outdoor living area, but the villa provides that and its par for the course in Bali. TV and DVD were great. Kitchen has the minimum utensils - good for room service or home delivery but not if you want to cook for yourself.
We arrived expecting the villa to be beautiful and the staff to be accommodating…everything was so much more!!! The staff were genuinely friendly and wonderful and our villa was the most tranquil, relaxing and beautiful place we have ever stayed! If we ever have the opportunity to return to Bali, we would most definitely stay there again!
