"Onsen is superb, with lovely outdoor scenery. Male and female baths will swop venues for different timings during a day/night so that one can get rooftop view as well as lakeside view. Hotel is by the lakeside of Lake Akan, lovely surrounding. Dinner and breakfast buffets are sumptuous and have lots of varieties."
"Great rooftop pool to watch the sunset. The Japanese styled rooms are a large size which is very comfortable. Huge hotel and too busy and rushed in restaurant. The decor is very aged. Good location though and great access for lake side walking."
"Great location. You can see the hotel from the north exit of JR train station, Famous fish market Washo is across from the train station.
Super affordable room rate which includes generous buffet breakfast with about 30 various dishes in Japanese and Western cousins. Breakfast is available 5:30 - 9:00 am
Baggage Storage on First floor 24 hr"
"The location, view of the forest from the river and private onsen bath were as described and very good.
We were half board and the quality of the food in my opinion was really poor, so much so we stopped eating in the restaurant after day one of a three day stay.
I can’t comment on the Japanese menu but the western menu was inedible. It wouldn’t be difficult to offer a simple continental buffet for breakfast."
