A neat hotel situated close to the market square and a major lake. Hotel has a spacious sauna and a big balcony to cool down afterwards. There is also a pretty decent gym to get an adequate hotel workout in during your stay.

Nice location near the lake, room was comfortable, with a nice view of the square. The service was great -welcoming and happy to help with anything that was needed.

Okay hotel with friendly service in Kuopio
They were very friendly, I got the room early and it was clean and nicely decorated. Pillow could have been better though + amenities such as soap & shampoo were basic. The parking costs extra, but not very much. I was on the border of "OK" vs. higher "pleasing" on overall, but ended up to "OK", perhaps due to the breakfast, which was more on the ordinary side compared to some of the other similar price range hotels. Overall okay value for the money, but nothing extraordinary.

My favourite hotel in Kuopio.
I've stayed at this hotel on many occassions. It's close to the town centre and it's many restaurants. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Breakfast is very good. The service is always excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Business Regular to Kuopio.
I have stayed at a number of different hotels in Kuopio and this one is the best so far with two good places to eat below the hotels rooms. There is an easy two minute walk to the centre of town where there are many other places to eat. I would recommend Frans and Sophie for an evening meal and also its the same place where the hotel serves breakfast.The local taxi service when called by the hotel arrives within five minutes.

Had to change 2 rooms to get one aprx.ok. However the traditional room was in bad shape. Bathroom: missing shower door!!!!. No everyday cleaning, one light bulb burned, no sleepers or bathrobe. Internet wifi card had to be renewed every day. No heating option at this time of the year(Aug. 30). Price high compared to what they offer. Had better room in Helsinki at Cumulus Hakaniemi (4 star hotel, including breakfats at 62 euro/night). In Kuopio paid 100 euro /night. Breakfast very good, restaurant service very good.Location very good.

Very typical Finnish chain hotel,
Very typical Finnish chain hotel, with nice room and modern facilities. I rated facilities only "average", because the TV set in the room did not work properly. Breakfast was very good, although we did not really have time to enjoy it. On Sunday it started at 7 am, and we had to leave 7:10. I would stay there again.

Kahden yön yöpyminen
Henkilökunta sekä respassa että ravintoloissa oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Ongelmallista että hotelli on kahdessa rakennuksessa. Tuli paljon juoksemista rakennusten välillä matkatavaroiden kanssa ennenkuin hotellihuoneen paikka hahmottui. Näkyi myös muita matkustajia, jotka etsivät huonettaan sekä aamiaisravintolaa. Sokkeloisuus siis on ongelma, muuten viihdyimme hyvin.
